We may lose one or both of our last games. I want to believe we win out. After the crazy off-season we had, things could have been worse. All you mouth breathers bellyaching need to let the grown-ups do there job. Y'all act like 2008-2021 never happened. Wake the f up
We are supposed to listen to someone who doesn't know the difference in their and there???

Heupel has earned some grace, there's no doubt about that, but there has to be improvement going forward. The consistent inability to capitalize on opportunities to win big games this year is not up to the Tennessee standard.

Anybody who wants him fired any time soon is an imbecile. Anyone who thinks this season's results are acceptable is deluded.

Tap the break there Skip Bayless. Now there are still two very winnable games on the schedule but if I told you the day before the last spring practice we lose Nico Boo hoo Carter and Ricky Gibson for the season knowing at the time most likely McCoy for the season yet I think we go 7-5 possibly 9-3 do you say that is unacceptable?

How bad are the SEC teams you are referring to? The bottom 6 teams in the conference are Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi State, Auburn, South Carolina and Arkansas.
Kentucky lost by 7 to Ole Miss, took Texas to OT and outplayed them throughout the game, won at Auburn and shellacked Florida.
Florida beat Texas and took Georgia and Ole Miss to the wire.
Mississippi State beat Arizona State(who is tied for 3rd in the Big 12), blew a 17 point 4th quarter lead against Texas and had chances to beat us and win in the swamp.
Auburn took Oklahoma, Georgia, A&M, Missouri and Vandy to the wire with chances to win each of those games.
South Carolina just blew a 27 point halftime lead over A&M and blew a chance to beat Alabama.
Arkansas has lost singe digit games @Ole Miss, Memphis, @tennessee, A&M, Mississippi State and @lsu and had chances to win several of those games.
When SEC teams play each other, someone has to lose. I would argue that even the worst teams in our conference are at least decent teams.
many people expected Arkansas, Kentucky and Florida to be much better this year than they turned out to be. two of them fired their coach and Kentucky should have.

It would be acceptable if that was the best we could do under the circumstances. The self inflicted mistakes and poor clock management is never really acceptable. The record is what it is. But the performance could and should have been better, even with all of the myriad of excuses. We shouldn’t be causing our own losses. Too many years in for that.

Tennessee is just no longer thought of as a top tier SEC team. I heard several pundits rattle off the top programs in the SEC of course Bama, A&M, UGa, Texas, and Ole Miss are now considered the top programs. We no longer get a mention or consideration.

1. Huepel has earned a few more years.
2. This team is regressing each week.
3. Year 5 Heupel should not lose these last two, he if does, it’s red flags even with the injuries.

Imagine using “mouth breathers” and the wrong usage of there/their all in the same sentence. Cant make it up.

If you’re going to try and take a shot at a group of people, it’s always worth a double check to make sure you don’t look ignorant yourself.

I was on the 9-3 train pre-season. 8-4 w bad luck / 10-2 with good. I'm still there, but the upside is gone. We'll also have to win 2 tough ones to finish it.

Sounds like I knew what I was doing. But, like most everyone, I expected a bit of a struggling O, but another dominant D, to keep every game close. Boy, has that narrative left town!
