Heupel has earned some grace, there's no doubt about that, but there has to be improvement going forward. The consistent inability to capitalize on opportunities to win big games this year is not up to the Tennessee standard.

Anybody who wants him fired any time soon is an imbecile. Anyone who thinks this season's results are acceptable is deluded.

Hopefully, and I think its most of us, believe this

The thing that's hilarious is before the season these posters were saying we definitely are going to lose to UGA and Bama and will split Okla and Florida
so 9-3 would be a great year, maybe 10-2

So we will go 9-3 and these are the same posters saying CJH needs to go and what an awful year it was..

it helps to pick a lane sometimes

You could say something similar about sunshine pumpers who predicted 11-1 but who are now fine with 8-4.

We may lose one or both of our last games. I want to believe we win out. After the crazy off-season we had, things could have been worse. All you mouth breathers bellyaching need to let the grown-ups do there job. Y'all act like 2008-2021 never happened. Wake the f up
please God in heaven, just go away. this loser mentality should be shunned and illegal.

your momma should be deeply ashamed for raising a sissy marry.

I would somewhat agree with your final point if we don't win out, but would only add that the QB situation in the spring, the two corners being out, and all the D-Line injuries kind of put us behind the 8-ball to an extent. Doesn't excuse the Georgia meltdown or all the mistakes in the OU game, but this very flawed group was that close to being 9-1 right now.

Moving forward, improvement absolutely must be seen regarding critical penalties and mental mistakes, 3rd down defense, and play calling and decision making in big spots.

which bad SEC teams have we lost to?
None, but I also don’t really think we lost any great teams either. I think SEC is really lacking in elite teams this year. Really sucks, because looking back on the early Heupel years I would have predicted 2025 to be a year we peak and it couldn’t have come at a better time for us to win the conference.
