UT has lost 7 games, I only got to go to homecoming
(Wyoming??? give me a break...), and I've recently had
2 strokes. Today my youngest got accepted and is
going to Alabama. She and my money will go there in the
fall. So see - things can always get worse. At least
we're getting a new coach......

It's not you fault. Sometimes kids with good parents go bad.

You didn't fail....much. :ermm:

If you mean things can get worse for everyone else, then yes. As far as you go, I dont know about that one. LOL. Congrats to your daughter on getting accepted I know how hard it can be, Im doing it right now. Good luck with your strokes also. Hopefully the Good Lord will be with you if another shall occur.

good grief, Well if it makes You feel any better...Charles Manson is STILL locked up so no danger of her joining the family...Of course life in prison might be better than 4 years in Tuscaloosa...Ugh

At least your upbeat. I'll keep you in my prayers. My wife lost a really big paying job this week but one can always find jobs. Your kid at Bama... thats tough. Maybe we'll be blessed with an excellent coaching selection and you can call her and gloat on the Third Saturday in October. :clapping:

She will be in the band. I'll try to get her to smuggle a
CD player in that plays "Rocky Top" !!

:salute:

She'll be a member of the Buck and a Quarter Band, eh? At least they have some tradition. It could be worse; she could have joined the Vanderbilt High School Marching Band.

My thoughts and heart go out to you on the horrible, and albeit, traumatic decision of your daughter. Having lived in BAMA for 16 years as a TN fan, I can understand COMPLETELY you angst at such a decision. I blame all her cohorts at school for pressuring her into making such a terrible decision, but peer pressure is what it is... and I also blame St. Nick. Why, if he hadn't have shown up, they would still suck, and there might have been a chance to rescue this poor child from her ill fated choice.

Life is full of choices and it would be nice if we could make them for our kids, but we can't. They have to learn it on their own. BAMA can be a rude and crude school, and she will learn this in time. Then maybe, just maybe, she will realize that "Father DOES know Best". One can only hope she will not be corrupted completely and be a BAMMER for life.

Yes siree, I feel for ya brother.

At least she is going to a school with a competitive football team.

The real question is.....Did she try and get in at UT? Or did she have her sights set on Bama? If she had her mind made up about Bama, we may have a problem!

We had a young man post just prior to the GA game. His heart is with UT but he is in the GA band. I think I remember him saying that he wears UT gear underneath his uniform.

It could be a lot worse, the main thing is your little girl is going to college. I hope she does well and makes you proud. :eek:k:

As for your money going to support helping pay for Satan...I mean Saban, that is a different subject! :furious3:

Only joking....kind of.....:ill_h4h:

Things can get worse.

Example: Nebraska fires Frank Solich and hires Bill Callahan.

Thanks, guys. Maybe when I send my money there I'll
send a letter saying "Not to be used for Bammer sports
in any way". At least my conscience will be clear. :good!:
