Things are not as bad as it seems

Actually things are worse. Stubborn, hard to get along with, head coach. Poor offense, poor defense, poor coaching. Players not developing, perhaps unfocused. Leadership not evident except for social demonstrations. Assistant coaching turnover high. I do not see how this ends well. More discouraged than ever in my 50 years of being a fan.

If we lose this week then the only bowl we will be going to is the Stars and Strikes bowl down the street.

I'm beginnig to think that all a bowl game will do at this point is provide more practice reps for Pruitt to squander on a particular lost cause of a quarterback, and increasing the likelihood of the same old reasoning ("I reckon he looks good in practice, mmmhmm.") being trotted out next fall for #2's next senior season.

He is the best in practice, okaaaay.

Even Coach Yoast would just shake his head at that.

This bye week has given us all time for reflection. Taking a step back and looking at things again puts things in perspective...Kentucky showed they are a really good ball club...kept the game close with Georgia. This shows that our loss to Kentucky was not all that bad. Kentucky is a top 20 team. Lets keep up the hard work and keep improving!!

Kentucky just beat us like a rented mule at Neyland. The stench of that is the equivalent of running over a dead skunk in the road. Yes, things are as bad as they seem.

Things are not as bad as they seem?

Will this be revisited after Arkansas Frank’s lights up the Vols defence with over 270 yds through the air on Saturday?

I can only imagine.

Probably my favorite post outside the op was the one that praised the op, mentioned negavols and talked about how we'd have beaten Kentucky if only we hadn't played sloppy and uninspired football during the game.

You think?

Kentucky sucks, but we're worse somehow, this is absolutely ridiculous, why is it when we lose it's because the other team is awesome?? Honestly we're not a good football team plain and simple that's why we're losing

Honestly UGA is pretty suspect at this point. Their defense is great. Although that offense is pretty garbage. Zeus or whatever gay nickname he gave himself is weak. He showed it in the UT game. If our offense had a pulse that game ends totally different. The thing on us not being far off though is crazy. It is at the point that UT is not relevant at all in CFB. I really cannot think of the last time that UT was even thought of as a real contender.

Posts like this just scream PARTICIPATION TROPHY

Put the orange kool-aid down. We suck. And we will continue to suck until we get a coach that realizes our starting QB should not be starting in the SEC and maybe he should coach other players up. Especially when the year doesn't count against eligibility. Build for the future. We could have a nasty offense with great team chemistry from kickoff next season and we could have many great seasons and recruiting seasons after that because of it.

But nope. Let's just ride and die with ol faithful JG under center all season and heck maybe if we are lucky he comes back next season and things will stay on the same trajectory because that's what we are used to and that's what the coaches are used to. Change is obviously bad so let's just keep what we have going. It's worked so far!

As long as Ga plays that QB, most teams will stay close to them. Ga is limited somewhat on offense anyway & that QB magnifies their issues on offense. Game wasn’t near as close as the score indicated.

Those three teams are “utilizing” their talent so well that they are 2-4, 2-5 and 1-4. And Miss St can’t even score as many points as Tennessee has with JG outside of a terrible LSU team

They have looked better on offense than us overall which is mainly JG being inept. MS has been the best offensively when I watched them.
