There was this from a commentary in this morning's tfpOnline....

The Kentucky team that lost to Tennessee is built around three juniors: Ramel Bradley, Joe Crawford and Randolph Morris. Those three scored 52 in a loss.

Then there are the Vols, who watched three freshmen — Wayne Chism, Duke Crews and Ramar Smith — score 44 points in a win.

Which team’s future would you rather have?

Has UT passed UK in SEC East Esteem?

I'll not take on that argument, but it seems clear that we now have some youngsters who have found their SEC-Legs. Can there now be any doubt that these guys are more than ready to compete at an SEC/Tourney level?... What, oh what, will this team do with another top quality recruiting class to bolster it's depth?...

The future's so damn bright, I gotta wear:shades:

I'm so enjoying this one...

Big props to Crews, Chism, Smith, and Tabb. This is what everyone saw them doing when they signed with UT. Crews and Chism were nothing short of amazing last night.

I think this bunch has a chance to do some real special things on the hill. However, I hope after next year that they can find an outside threat like Lofton so everyone has to stay spaced out on D.

On a side note, Weidmer is an anti - Tennessee moron who only speaks positively about UT b/c it sells papers... His true colors shine thru quite a bit.

Tabbs jam and Dukes block was on espns top plays from the night..it wasn't a count down or anything..just showin big dunks and blocks from the nights games.

Considering that his true colors are Kentucky blue, you'd have to concede that the tone of the above commentary shows Weeds is at least willing to consider sports/teams in the light of their accomplishments.
Assigning credit/blame to current sporting events is the job description when writing sports commentary. I've cursed his positions a time or two myself, but never been able to argue that his opinion was well written. One can ask for little more from such writers...

Don't forget, there are 2 or 3 more Freshman on the bench. The Vols just haven't needed them yet.:eek:k:

Who? The only Fr. we signed were Tabb, Crews, Chism, Johnson, and Smith. They all play except for Johnson who is transferring.

I sorry, I forgot T Passley was a sophomore. He is supposed to be good though.
