40 point underdogs? not against these creamsicles. I love my Vols, but damn Portland St. beat them 66-7.

Players knew the coach was gonna be fired after the game...flat out didn't show up...happy with the unt defense today...offense...sucks

Really disappointed in play level.
Play calling has reverted back to juvenile gear.
Fortunately were playing a cupcake

We maybe have the youngest team in College football. It was our first 12.00 noon game. We need to do a better job of execution. Thanks to the 100,000 most passionate fans in America we were able to work through adversity and overcome it. Another great learning experience.

Not what I expected but it's a W and we got to rest some of our starters. Let's win out.

Lost last week 56-13 to La. Tech with no coach to fire. Horrible performance today by the Tennessee team. Our Offensive line has absolutely no pride. Embarrassing.

What's embarrassing is this fan base with all it's fussing and complaining and never bein happy n content with WINS!!!!

Holy smokes guys were flippin 6-4 for the 1st time in forever and have a 3 game winning streak, with a shot of goin out at 8-4 and y'all still find stuff to fuss about!! People can't just be happy n celebrate a win on the best site in the world without being brought down by you Debbie downers!!!! It's getting ridiculous around here. Life is much more enjoyable when you actually enjoy things you love instead of breaking it down and analyzing every detail be happy with the win and move on to mizzou.

Really , how happy you gonna be in 2 years and we are 11-1 and we get left out of the playoffs to another 11-1 team that beats the dog s**t out of weak teams and we look like crap against them but "at least we won"!
Committee won't be impressed and if you don't impress them you don't get in!

I agree. Watching our players just running through the motions is pathetic! We looked & acted like we didn't want to be there, and it showed. I'm sorry but there's no excuse for the way we played today. This should have been a game where the 2nd & 3rd string kids should have hit the field and got some reps. This was one of them games where we won but it sure didn't feel like it. Our Oline played like a bunch of Nancy's inside the trenches! The bottom line is, we looked & played like crap! And there's no excuse for playing this bad this late in the season, against a glorified high school team!

1st off I'd be completely happy with 11-1 in 2 years. But back to my original post, lookin back at where we've been for so many years to where we are now I'm happy. They're a bunch of fans that keep complaining about this coach and his staff cause they don't run the program the way they think it should be ran or they don't call the game the way they think they should. And yea I get it, we've got great talent on this roster and we have let some get away from us this year that we shoulda win, but look back at the previous 4-5 years at this same time in the season and we was beggin, pleading and prayin just to win out to become bowl eligible. Well BAM here we sit bowl eligible with 2 more very winnable games to go and a possible 8-4 finish and it seems all you see is complaining and fussing over petty crap. I'm not a coach homer but I do like CBJ and majority of his staff and I will support them til they just take a complete dump on our program. But more importantly I'm a fan and supporter of this team and the unniversity and am damn proud of the players for the accomplishments they've had. I don't care who's coaching as long as we are gettin results. And IMO we are seeing results, maybe not as fast a some would like but they are there in black n white. We have seen improvement every year (well minus year 1) CBJ has been here. And I know that we as fans have heard excuse after excuse for years now and yea were tired of hearing them but ya know what reality is that this is a young and we have no real depth and we have nagging injuries to players that are key factors on game day and all that affects the outcome on any given Saturday. Like the old sayin goes "the truth hurts" but it is what it is and I see a very bright future for this program, team and unniversity for a long time to come (only if given the time to build it). If we go into a tyrant and see a coaching change in the next couple of years I'd say ya might as well get used to bein a bottom dweller where we've been since Fulmer left cause nobody worth a crap in their right mind would take this job. I love this team I love the VOLS just like everybody else on here says they do, I'd just like to see the negativity cease and see a lil more positivity. You read it on here everywhere that they look down or they just ain't given their all n bein sloppy, ok well that's all good but don't we as fans need to be more positive n give our all?
