That they love that Kiffin is putting up billboards in FL and GA. They said he's mixing things up in a conference where they don't want things mixed up. I lol'ed

I like Michael Wilbon more every day. The PTI guys seem to be the only ones on ESPN that aren't following the networks anti-Kiffin rhetoric.

It's true. You can't just be soft observer in the SEC. If you want to win, you have to be arrogant. You have to mix things up.

Stat boy called out Marriotti on this on AtH earlier this week.

PTI is a great show... the worst I've seen lately is the new Sportsnation show w/ colin cowherd.. plain awful!

you gotta be careful with that around there.

I remember May or April one year Herbstreit disagreed with one of their continuing discussions about college football playoffs and that it wasn't going to change so they really shouldn't keep discussing it...They made sure he didn't appear all again till the season started in september :p

and when he showed up again, he had somehow mysteriously completely changed his view on the subject

Mariotti is a complete tool. He was Charles Woodson's #1 cheerleader back in '97 and I plainly remember him taunting the Tennessee fanbase and bragging about how he helped "his guy" win the Heisman... I wouldn't normally wish bodily harm on anybody that hadn't harmed my family or myself, but if tomorrow morning I saw in the news that Jay Mariotti had died in a fiery car crash I would smile knowing that my day had gotten off to a good start.

Espn isn't anti-Kiffin, there are anti-Tennessee. Clemson has twice as many secondary violations as us but I don't see an Outside The Lines special on them.

Cowherd is awful. He has never been good. His show is the only time at work that I dont listen to ESPN radio.

Agree. His tone of voice makes me feel like someone is taking a microplane grater to my cervical vertebrae.

I seriously wish he would develop Tourette's Syndrome so that the FCC would make ESPN pull him off the air.

No....Peyton lost the heisman because he got reamed by Florida.

yeah, your right...that one loss kept him from winning the heisman!! Peyton was over-publicized and by the end of the year everyone got sick of hearing of him, mostly ABC and ESPN, and he got screwed over. I personally blame Keith Jackson. now, if you wanna try again you can but ill just keep rolling along! :eek:lol:
