He would make the offence call plays that he knows wont work just so he can say I told you JG was better.

If there is a legit fan in vol nation who DOES NOT have a agenda that truly thinks JG is the best QB on the roster they seriously belong in a mental institution. Dude has regressed, back breaking play after back breaking play. You can see the players have quit on him. Obviously you have some sort of agenda so I’m not going to argue with you. This team is going downhill fast with him under center and Pruitt is going down in flames with him. It was obvious Chaney didn’t trust him on 3rd downs against Alabama, when your own OC gives up on you it’s a pretty bad situation. You defend JG to death, either your family, a friend or significant other and if that’s the case vol nation might not be the best place for you. You can argue all day but the entire fan base see’s it, don’t think your going to convince anyone he is UT’s savior. He’s had his chance, It’s been 5 years, he is what he is. Maurer is the superior player and should be getting the snaps. Pruitt is just deaf, dumb, and blind.

What happened to Pruitt from last year? Zero hesitation to bench JG when needed. Grabbed the face mask and let him know he screwed up.... anyone seen him?

Got that extension. Mellowed him out knowing he is set for life regardless of how his team performs. "Retired on active duty"..

Think Pruitt's watched to many old westerns. The town out with pitchforks and he holds stubborn, That just because this guy has got caught doing many crimes locking him up and throwing away the key is not an option.
In this situation think JP's dad told him the guy that earns it in practice plays end of story.
This is not a Western were in 30 minutes sticking to your principles always wins out and Matt Dillion rides off into the sunset.
This is the real world and prior to this JP coached at perennial winners (now out of his element). This is not the old WEST. This is the EAST were we are losing ground for 17 years +.

The cognative dissonance required to try and gate-keep UT fandom, using JG's performances in 2020, must be near stroke-inducing.
