These Dreams......

I told you guys about the recurring dream where my wife yells at me about an intruder and I grab the gun but am so dizzy and disoriented. Then I go to pull the trigger and the magazine is empty. I finally just slept with a box of ammo in my bed haha.

I've had weird dreams in the past about intruders. They come in my bedroom door and, although I have a gun, I can't pull the slide back to load a round. My arms are fuzzy and won't work. The dream usually ends there. Sometimes, the gun falls apart like a Barney Fife episode.

Dreams, for some, may be the escape that keeps us sane. Dreams, for others, I don't know.

Yeah, mine is really similar. Have you ever been hurt in a dream?

The reason I asked about pain was because the second paranormal experience I had could have been blamed on a dream. I have definitely had craziest dreams to believe that. Just think this was the real thing.

Maybe, last week. Never before. That's what made me thing about this thread. My dreams are always good. Last week, I had one of those spatial dreams. At the end, out of nowhere, I and a friend were standing at an elevator door. I knew we were in the elevator although we were standing outside the door. I watched as it descended down through the numbers. When it got to 10, it dropped with increasing speed to O and rapidly hit bottom. When it hit bottom, my head did a cartoonish thing. It flattened out and went drastically sideways. End of dream. Don't know what happened. This is one of the few exceptions to my good dreams.

judging by the painful moans my roommate made a couple minutes ago, i reckon he probably got stabbed or shot in his dream.

I have an equal mix of good and bad dreams. And because I think it depends on what you are experiencing in life, that kind of sucks.

Okay, I think I posted this before, but I am going to share again.

My brother and I were playing xbox in his room. My parents were cooking dinner and we started smelling smoke. We kidded back and forth about how our mom burnt whatever food we were having. We get called down to dinner and everything is fine though. That's when we get worried and tell our dad about the smoke. He and I rush upstairs and follow the smell to the guest bedroom. We have a small alcove in the room underneath a dormer window. That is where it was smoking. We had a contractor who lived next door come by and just see if we were okay. Never figured out what caused it or anything, but we guessed an electrical fire in the outlet.

While he is looking over the upstairs I decide to take a nap in my brother's room. He was still playing, at the time. Some minutes later I awaken to a poke in my should (I was lying on my side). I can just sense it isn't any of my family. I'm so scared to roll over. I'm poked again. All of a sudden my chest constricts sort of. I can't breathe. I try to move and my body just won't work. I guess only seconds go by. All of a sudden it feels like I'm being grabbed and shaken so hard, yet I don't even move. Then I have the worst pain in my ears. It feels like my eardrums are just going to explode. It's like I'm under thirty feet of water and dealing with the pressure. And then it stops. I still can't move. And then it hits me again. The shaking and just excruciating pain.

Then the feeling of not being able to move and being held down just washes away. My brother is not in the room and I can hear my mom downstairs helping him with homework. I get up to go pee. Physically get up. Pee. Shake my thing. Flush. Go get back in bed. I nap for a few more minutes before my mom is yelling for me. She wants my help with a math problem. They are still down there doing homework. I don't tell anyone about what happened because of how crazy it sounds. It could have been a dream, but him doing hw in my dream and then doing hw when I actually go down and help is just so coincidental. The whole encounter felt so real. The pain and the fear were so real.

I can relate to that part. Had those in the past when I lived alone in Loudon. Weird feeling. With mine, came intruders. I knew they were there but couldn't get my body to react to the situation. Ended well after awhile.

But this wasn't a dream. I don't think.

I am off to dreamland. Wish me well. Hope I survive whatever is in store. I'm sure it will be all good, though.

I hope it is, too. My nightmares **** with me. I am sometimes scared to go to sleep. I try to put it off because I know what is waiting for me. I wake up in the cold sweat, heart racing, covers thrown in the floor.

I have a recurring one, from childhood, that I still have every so often. Capt. Hook is chasing me thru a pirate ship and I get away from him just long enough to climb into a huge wooden sand box n slide up under the edge of it. I can hear him talking as he steps into the sandbox just overtop of me. Then I wake up

I found Billy C's dreams:

Is it normal that I have weird sex dreams about animals? | Is It Normal? | http://isitnormal.com

I remember a lot of my dreams, and a lot of them are sex dreams. A few years ago, I dreamt that I had sex with one of my dogs (she's a female). It should be mentioned however that this dog had a normal HUMAN vagina in the dream. Then last night, I had a dream where I had a choice between raping a tiny child (there was a group of them) who looked exactly like a humanized porcelain doll, or a cat. I chose the cat. Luckily I did not actually have sex with it, I woke up before that.

In real life, I have NO desire to be sexually involved with any animal, it only comes up in my dreams. And as I said, I have many sex dreams, and they are almost always normal, with humans.

So, is this normal? Does anyone else out there have sex dreams about weird things?

I think dreams are a release of the emotions and issues and drama of real life, mixed with the subconscious desires, fears etc. Thats why they rarely make sense but can be somewhat rationalized.
