Why don't you put in for a job there since you're so great and all. You're name might be "football player" but I'd put money on you not being the brightest one on whatever team you played on.

As I told you in the other thread, you're just a hater, plain and simple and you're hopping from thread to thread bashing the coach does NOTHING.

Was it 50% of the team's first road game? YES
Are a good percent of the players freshman? YES
Do young players make young player mistakes? YES
Was there more than one play that decided the game? YES
Did the coaches have players in position to win the game at the end? YES
Did they win? NO
Live with it.
Take it out on GA next week.

Good grief people, an under-manned, inexperienced bunch of kids went to LSU and played their asses off. I know they lost and that sucks but they were better this week than the week before (and the week before that) and all you can do is find reasons to ***** and complain..

I thought we might be in this game. I have watched LSU in a couple games this year and their offense is bad enough to lose to anyone. I'm not saying DD did a bad job, just saying that their offense is bad enough to blow any game. Les Miles doesn't help matters either.

It's all the coaches fault.
The coaches are dumb because LSU scored on first play from scrimmage.
The coaches or dumb because they had the right play called on 4th and 14 and the kids didn't execute.
the coaches are dumb because Pallardy missed a field goal.
and the coaches are dumb because of the mass confusion at the end of the game, no time outs left and some of the kids got confused on where they were supposed to be.
You win. It's all the dumb coaches fault.

The HC is the one making the decisions at the end of the game. No substitutions are made unless Dooley authorizes it.

I can sympathize with Wilcox.
He takes the job at TN thinking he can take some neglected Divi 1 players and turn them around.
Don't know why it took so long to realize it, but after the 4th game of the season he realizes that he has seniors on his team that don't know how to tackle.
Now in addition to teaching a new system to his players and studying teams he's never seen before he has to teach fundamentals to seniors.
And he has to win with players, 50% of which would be walk ons at other SEC schools. (Worked in the WAC, not here )
Loses a key DT and another DT before the season even starts. Has to move offensive players to defense.
So how did the substitutiion issue get over looked?
Good God. It's a miracle we've won 2 games this year.

This post is moronic... and that is being VERY nice.

Do you know how much more talented LSU is than UT at this point? If a less capable team is going to beat a more capable team then they have to take some risks and at some point trust their players.

If he had thrown a PA pass on the 4th down and ran it on that 2nd down... you'd be complaining about that too. It is really easy to be a Monday morning QB... just a tad more difficult to take a team like UT's into Death Valley and play mistake free football. UT did that until the last minute of the game.

Dooley is ultimately responsible but if UT keeps getting beat because the D can't get the right numbers on the field... Dooley's responsibility will be to discipline his young DC.

One of my concerns about this staff was that Wilcox wasn't used to the pressure of playing 9-10 real opponents each year. Any way you slice it or dice it... these substitution mistakes were chokes on his part.
