I do not bet on, or against, the Gators. I have enough riding on each game such that I don't feel the need to add the anxiety of wagering to it.

But in the hypothetical world where I would, I think 21 is much too low.

Florida is good but everybody else has talent too. They have very high expectations and I do not believe they will meet those lofty "givens"...teams usually don't. Tebow is posing for GQ centerfolds and I think their focus is a little skewed. Over confidence and beleiving you can't be beat are the best recipes for disaster. Football is a funny game sometimeas too, and that ball tends to bounce in funny ways sometimes. I have also seen injuries ruin seasons for many teams. Many things can happen in football games and seasons. I think they will chat and fall back in it.

ok this is my opinion an it is that we do not have a shot we have no chance if you think that ur not a real true vol fan this if football an the sec anybody can beat anybody any day...so u cant say we have no chance if u r a true vol fan

We won't beat Fla because except for a couple of positions Fla is more talented---including backups. And unlike Ole Miss LY, we won't be sneaking up on them.

You don't get to determine who is a "true" Vol fan and who isn't.Florida should do like Oklahoma did last year and beat everyone down.It doesn't make anyone any less of a fan to think that Florida is going to beat Tennessee.I would love to see the Vols win but I'm a realist and understand why Florida is favored.You're no more of a fan than me or anybody else on this board.

EXACTLY!!!!! Nothing more, nothing less...Glad someone caught on. Some people make me wonder if their blood actually runs big ORANGE, or maybe a shade of yellow. Either that, or their are more trolls than meets the eye. If we were playing the 2007 Patriots, I would still hold out hope. Without unbelievable upsets, we wouldn't have the Stanford beating USC, God forbid but Wyoming beating UT, and we, as VOL FAITHFUL would not have the 1986 Sugar Bowl. Why not believe it COULD be possible to have another SWEET memory. I know it's just the VOL fan in me, but it is TRULY in me, how about you?????

Why all the hate? Just because I have hope, I get slammed on a VOL board. I could understand if I started the thread on a gator board, but why here? Is everyone truly this uptight, and afraid to have hope of a win? Basketball, football, baseball, foosball, who cares about the comparison.....how about having balls.

It's football and nobody really knows what will happen. Coaches can sometimes hit on something that really makes a difference and players sometimes play over their ability. The best team can over look a team or their players might not have a good day.
The best team usually wins but it's not a given. I don't think we will have a chance against Florida but no fat lady is singing yet.
