These 12pm games have got to stop!

This is just crazy! Who comes up with the scheduling times for these games? Is it dictated by tv scheduling?!

Who wants to go to a game that early in the afternoon when we're all sleeping off Friday nights bender... nobody!

Then there's the people who are actually trying to get things done on Saturday mornings and afternoons, especially this time of year when it gets dark at 5 freaking 30.

I'm more mad about these 12pm games than I ever will be about that Missouri game.

The tailgates for these games must be fantastic. Biscuits and gravy, some bacon and waffles! Somebody pass me the maple sizzurp! Who just took my Vodka and OJ?!?!

/rant

I love the 12pm games because i work weekend nights.

Well i didn't get to see the Missouri game. I definitely didn't miss much. At least this time frame will give me a chance to watch. I hope it's a better game.

Ok now what exactly do you have against biscuits and gravy?...Bacon and waffles just happen to be a staple of life in the south....You sound like a raging alcoholic who needs to be piss ass drunk in order to enjoy a game of football....Check into rehab.

I agree completely....of course when you get up at 3am (by choice) noon is about right...then a nap, change into my more svelte evening diaper and its dinner at 4 pm and then watch 'Fiddelin Round the USA' or 'Hound Dog Hodown' til 8 then its lights out...

Awesome! Bravo sir!

After a hard night of partying on friday it's hard to wake up by 10am to get to a tailgate party--this time i'm just staying up, take a shower and head out at 7am to a tailgate

Someone is going to watch the game from the drunk tank. Lol.

vandy, Kentucky and Mississippi state have been playing at that time for years... once we get back to winning, we will get the better time slots.

Now, you are just venting right? You do understand how it works I hope?? scheduling I mean...

Love the people genuinely wondering whether TV has something to do with kickoff times. Y'all been under a rock the past 20 years?

This. Does anyone think CBS is going to pick this game over Alabama/LSU?

And would some of you rather go back to the days when there were about 4 games to watch each Saturday?

I've heard from a couple of the players that Butch doesn't like playing the night games and pleads his case to the stations to play at 12 or 330 which most of the time they have no problem with.

So losing CBS and night games are part of his master plan....

Maybe Butch really does get it!

Coaches have zero say in what time they play. It is 100% dictated by TV. Only discretion in game-time by the schools/coaches is if the game is not televised.

Those games start at 10am out here. It's kinda nice to just roll out of bed and have the vols on while I eat breakfast. Start the day out right.

I would pick 12:00 over 3:30 CBS game any day. We don't seem to play well there. With that being said, it was a little rough getting my 3 year old and 6 year old up, fed, and to the game to enjoy any pregame festivities for the USCe game.

It's TV BULL$hit. And it affects performance as players are not used to practicing or playing games at noon.
