There's only one damn answer for either team

Hire Mike Leach.

If either of our fanbases had a brain, we'd be wanting our team to lose tomorrow so our coach would get fired and the search could begin.

The first team to can the coach could be the first to offer Leach.

I can't believe Tennessee didn't follow through and hire Leach last year. He would turn around either of our dumpster fires.
Tennessee and Leach would not gel at all. Of course Tennessee hasn't gelled with anybody lately.

Serious question: I know Mike Leach is known for having an incredible offensive mind (one of the best in college football. I can think of Lincoln Riley as someone who is probably only better because he has far superior athletes) but what is Leach’a resume defensively? How do his defenses play?

Mike Leach is a good coach who I still consider underrated.

Develops his players into winners and he has enough talent to turn this program around a lot quicker.
I agree. He does more with less than 90% of the coaches out there. Not convinced though that he would survive at UT

This is the point in the thread when I ask you to list all the championships Leach has won in his career.

He wins at programs with built in disadvantages like Texas Tech and Wash St. Think what he could do at a name-brand program. He'd win multiple natties.

Your opinion/projection. OC at KY was his best talent ever. Not a recruiter. Not a booster schmoozer. Why do you think he’s never gotten a big job?

UGA, LSU, TAMU, FSU, UF, Nebraska, PSU, Miami, OSU, OU, Texas all didn’t hire him. But yeah TN should lol.

They also didnt hire Jeremy Pruitt...as a matter of fact no one has ever hired him for a head coaching job.

Well other than the SEC team that just lost to Georgia St

How much has he won? Top 3 seasons? Top 3 wins?
2008 he went 11-2 at Texas Tech...Beat #1 ranked Texas that year..Blew out #8 ranked Oklahoma St...2007 he went 9-4 with a beating of #3 ranked Oklahoma...At Washington St his best year was last year at 11-2 and pounded #12 ranked Oregon...Not too bad for coaching 2 school's with almost zero tradition

Please explain why no name brand program has hired him. Especially given the plethora of big time programs that have has job openings in the past 5+ years.

I just found out today that BYU used to be able to throw the ball around the yard. Totally clueless to all things BYU
BYU was really the pioneer of the air it out offense under Lavell Edwards. Won the most improbable of national championships in 1984. They are also Top 10 (No. 10) in wins in the last 50 years.

I don’t know why I’m responding to you since you’ve made clear from earlier posts that you’re a troll. But no offense, Mike Leech isn’t leaving a PAC 12 school he just had ranked in the top 10 to go to BYU

So two good seasons and zero championships of any kind in his whole career
