There's no way the AD doesn't back down now, right?

It's only been like an hour and already this has taken over Twitter. Protests are already being organized and even state politicians are condemning a hire that hasn't even been made official yet. Making any kind of official announcement will make this about 100 times worse, possibly even national news worthy. We're talking a full blown revolt. I think they would realize just how much of a disaster this is going to be for them if they actually proceed...right?

I hope Currie comes to his senses in time. We don't know but I think this will tarnish him as an AD forever at Tennessee. Hopefully he moves on almost anyone is better we don't need this guy I think he is guilty of knowing what was happening at Penn State. It would be hard for me to not believe all the coaches on that staff knew.

This will be like getting the Death Penalty and will probably be a Program Killer if this happens.

If Schiano even made the list of 30 candidates, The UTAD doesn't give a ****.

For one second let’s just say Currie can provide rock solid evidence that clears him from the claim of seeing Sandusky in the act and not reporting it. Ok so now that’s out of the conversation. The guy was barely over 500 at Rutgers, had one good season followed by a few mediocre ones and then fell flat on his face in the NFL. Then we still have the allegations he faced of being a tyrant at the Bucs and leaking player info. finally did Currie not watch last years OSU/Clemson game, or this this years iowa/OSU games, he’s not even that good of a DC.

Everyone needs to remember that the Haslams are in court these days because their Business was overcharging people on purpose. That makes them thieves and criminals. almost the exact amount that they stole is the amount that they paid for the Cleveland browns . GO FIGURE. These are the people making decisions at UT .

Coaches at Penn State feared speaking about the child rapes because it meant going against the respected powers. They feared for their careers if they spoke up against children being raped in the coaches' showers. Well, I believe that any who spoke up should suffer no ill effects. Those who remained silent should fear for their careers. I do not want a coach from that staff any where near the University of Tennessee.

None of these stories cite credible sources. I won't believe anything until it is official
