I just looked at our recruiting class and needless to say only 2 of our top recruits sign early. Firing Pruitt now would not hurt us in any way it would probably help us to tell the truth. If recruits out there watching have the feeling that sooner or later he is on his way out there more than likely going to look else where. With Freeze out there waiting and it is not going to cost us a lot of money to get him here.

To us, there’s no reason to keep Pruitt.

Fulmer on the other hand is up Pruitt’s ass trying to make excuses for him.

It’s beyond pathetic.
It's the truth!...No other school with a tradition of winning would keep him after this season.....Hell Texas is about to fire Tom Herman and he has a winning record...It's just not up to Texas standards...I can admire that and I promise you if they do fire him they will go after a big gun like Urban Meyer because they want to win championships...Wish our school was that aggressive in trying to hire a top coach.

Honestly, he’s the head ball coach. Our coach for that matter. As much as I hate losing, I’m going to support him 100% . Face it , unless something tragic happens or dramatically happens. He’s going to be her for 2 more years. As a long time fan, being mad , stressed hasn’t solved anything. Ride or die if not go kick rocks. There is plenty of other teams to cheer on. Make your peace and take your pick. I literally just spent money on new Tennessee gear so I’m not going anywhere. Maybe once for a freaking weekend we can talk more about kicking some Gator tail , support this team and maybe just maybe it’ll also help fill energy in our boys and help in recruiting. Why would any top recruit want to go to a place that constantly sees negative tweets from fans like these. These kids are on Twitter more than their in their books. Alright , I’m done blast away don’t care. GBO🍊

People’s opinions on a message board has nothing to do with recruiting.

Recruits sign up to win and get to the NFL.

We have no effect on a kid’s decision.

I disagree. Fan bases greatly influence games and recruits. Prove me wrong.

Maybe recruits are arguable, but there is nothing on here that influences games...zip, nada, zilch.

Oh, and BTW, you made the assertion, so it is incumbent upon you to provide the proof for your point. We’ll hang up and listen.

I was once that kid bro come on now . Even you were man . Yeah they are expecting and most definitely biggest goal is to go to the NFL and get paid but they are staying in Knoxville for 3-4 years before getting paid. They can go anywhere to go to the pros bro and get paid. Hence why most choose Bama, Clemson, Ohio St , ext. and make it into the nfl . We have a tradition like no other , a standard that was met for along time. That alone pleased and made our fans happy. But not anymore and that anger has built up I get it but if you really believe that your blasts on social media doesn’t make an impact your crazy man. Look what big media and social media has done to this country lol not getting into that but yes , social media posts can make a impact. You telling me other wise is you asking me to lie and I shall not lie bub.

So kids sign with a school only because they win or are competitive?

Maybe they see the coaching staff isn’t able to develop players nor put them in the best position to win?

How about Pruitt sticking with same horrible QB week after week?

Why can’t his defense stop a simple slant pass?

There’s so many issues opposing coaches can recruit against Pruitt.

I agree that with our comments on here have little to no affect on a game, however I said fans have an affect on the game as in the ones in the stands.

Good Luck. I've tried your approach with some of my posts. Many refuse to believe that media posts can affect recruiting and/or the success or failure of football programs. I'm not even a big fan of Fulmer, but Pruitt's going to be here for another yr or two anyway. If Pruitt doesn't get good results(whatever that might be), put his butt on the road, but lynch mobs are not known for waiting for the trial. Modern media has shortened the length of coaching tenures, but it has not changed the amount of time required to build the average program.

Exactly , I played 14 years of football and as a player you can feel the energy from the crowds and if that energy was negative then it affected me mentally and emotionally, so there’s proof lol Again I’ll say it , these kids care way TOO much of what you think, than what they think . Most don’t think for themselves, they just react to what they see and hear.

He won’t make it 2 more seasons, 1 more at most.

True story. Unless our clusterf@#k administration is ready to spend the money to hire a "real winner", a high profile, big name and big deal type of coach there's no reason to fire cornbread.

Ah, like I said , most have forgotten what it was like to be 17-18 year old kid. At that age man your just still viewing the world in most other peoples eyes. Not thinking for yourself, watching other people. I don’t remember hearing kids comments saying they get players to the pros lol when I read these articles you’ll read “ feels like home” again I f your home is dark and negative , who would want to go there. I can go to Bama where people are happy and go to the NFL. Our fans aren’t giving coach a chance , why should the recruits?
