Toughest league in NCAA
Competition for A players is high in this league/ need great players
Brand has been damaged at worst time historically/ younger generations not interested in being fan of loser team
No love for state of tennessee
Changes in football including paying players / crisis of concussions/ alternate entertainment/ high cost of time and money/ low return on entertainment dollar
Questionable coaching
Losing is contagious

But if we would stop being cheap, we could get a real coach and change this crap around. #coach4pennies

I really don't know if there's a fix. A fix being UT being a top 15 team 3/5 years like they should be. That might just not be realistic anymore.

Get the right coaches in place and it can happen sooner than you think.

We should save up for a few years. Get all the payouts taken care of. Bide our time with Pruitt. He may pan out yet. He's young. He's new. We'll see. If he does great. But if he doesn't, we'll be in good shape to pay an NFL coach the big bucks to come to Neyland. Kyle Shanahan anyone?

If the recruiting tanks we will never be successful with Pruitt.

The fix gonna cost some money because no one that knows what they are doing would want to take this over unless the pay was enormous.

Today was an SEC game but our defense played better than the 1st two games. They are getting better, they stayed on the field too long today though.

OL is better but today they made stupid penalties. They were ok against a top notch front 7 for FL. Run game wasn't good though.

QB is our Achilles Heel plain and simple it is no longer the OL.

I agree. He's correct. However, he's still a gator so F'em was the appropriate response. Salt in the wound right now with the staff and administration being completely inept.

You are on target.....thanks for that post...that is exactly what I saw...
Like I said, I've been a critic but anyone could see and tell they made improvement throughout the week and today......thought the O line pass blocked very well....New QB should do the trick...let the kid get used to how fast the game is on game day....that will prove if you can play or not...
I didn't think we would win...I said score would be 56-6 but I saw some progress today...play calling may not have been very good but Qb is reason for that imo
