This year we really couldn't afford a single injury on the oline... And 3 starters from beginning of year (including our best lineman, Robertson) are out.

But hey, fire debord!!!! We only have a top 4 offense in the SEC with our 3 best receivers (north, pig, croom) and 3 lineman on a very thin line out...

Not saying it wasn't ugly play. But how many offenses would you trade ours for in the SEC? Fully healthy we would be in the top 2 in the conference!!!

There are several reasons, and they most entirely are due to coaching.

Try finishing that statement for everyone who doesn't speak idiot.

There are several reasons... "why we have one of the top offenses in the SEC, despite being the youngest and most injury riddled".... And they are entirely due to coaching.

Yoy are a good reminder of why I took a good month off from this message board.

Well the OL is the most glaring issue for the O...they can't open holes in the middle and that's where we should be killing people with Hurd...The Ds we face are stopping our inside run with their base D - making Hurn run East West negates his power. And they can't seem to give the QB much time to pass...I won't give Dobbs a pass on his accuracy but he is most often under duress...

But there have been some good plays by the OL - they are just very inconsistent...kind of like the overall O...

We will need a strong, physical game from the OL next week against Mizz...if they shut down the run with their base D then Dobbs will be throwing into a lot of coverage...

Listen, Butch, the players have made plays in spite of obvious coaching problems. Dobbs has made zero improvement in his passing game and still stares down his first option on nearly every play. 3 years in he shouldn't have that issue. Don't get me started on the OLine coach, the WR coach, or the secondary coach.

Man I miss I-formation. Tennessee is a big boy football team that should be smacking people in the mouth not dancing around in space.

I don't understand why we don't run our offense similar to how Ohio State does. They run the read option but also take deep shots and have a power run game when needed. Granted, they have quarterbacks who can actually throw the ball.
