For those of you that are either questioning the hiring or are COMPLETELY against it....

1. Leave. If you don't like what has been put in front of you and are questioning yourself as a Vol Fan, then leave. You probably were never a fan in the first place, so don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

2. Get behind our coach 110%. He's been put in a VERY tough spot and needs us fans more than ever.

You are either a Vol for life, or a bandwagon fan of a coach or a time period. I, myself, don't want to root for anything else other the the Orange and White for the rest of my life and could care less about the rest. If your a Vol, great, if not, get the hell out and stop pretending. We may win a NC with Coach Dooley, or we may stink it up, but it's still UT and he's still your coach. Like I said, your either Orange and White through and through, or your just a damn pretender.

Figure it out.

Asking some of the "nay-sayers" to think may place this board at risk of imploding! It is obvious they never thought or researched anything before posting their dribble! :thumbsup:

Those aren't the only two options. There is a 3rd. STFU and wait to see how the coach does. Constantly degrading the coach is going to do nothing and it just makes you look like a douche.

That's pretty much option 2. Get behind the guy until he gives you a reason not to be.

you can disagree with the hire and still be a vol fan, idiot. that doesnt mean we wont go to the games and cheer as loud as ever. all of us who doubt this hire hope we are wrong.

You might want to edit the name calling unless you prefer to be a lurker for a while

Nice post Eric. I prefer the wait and see approach. No reason to trash the guy selected to lead our beloved team.

No, it's OK to dissent. Some were against Lane Kiffin from the start and in retrospect were correct. If Dooley is sucessful his critics will come over and support his hiring. If not, then those of us behind Dooley will move to the other side eventually.

So, basically you move back and forth from side to side until the end and then try to say you were right from the get go?? Lane did a lot of good things for our program, aside from leaving it of course.

I'm like this, I've been a Vol fan all my life, whether we stink up the joint or win national titles I will bleed orange till the day I die, and I'm gonna back CDD until he gives me a reason not to, I'm not gonna judge the book without reading the contents. Nice post Eric, I always knew you were a true Vol since I met you at my cousins... GO BIG ORANGE!
