To be fair I probably used bad examples. There are funnier, more vulgar examples but I didn’t want to post them here.

Heh, he's the modern prototype, to be sure. Though I sort of blame "If Coach O Hired Mike McKenzie" for all of this - jokingly, not literally, it was too long ago I think for many to remember. While not the origin of parody figure accounts (which have been around long before the internet), those Coach O articles really did hit the spot back when his Ole Miss "rip off all those earrings and throw 'em in the box" stories circulated. When I say funny - these are funny.
