I believe they had Florida on their minds. I even think Pruitt even knew it. They are ready to go. Pruitt probably just told them let’s clean up some things, and play hard and let’s get out of here. He said after the game, he said we will focus on ourselves this week. Don’t worry, we’ll be ready.👍💥👍💥

I don't know about looking ahead. I didn't watch the game, but looking at the stats gives the impression that we had an incredibly simply offensive game plan. Someone uses that excuse whenever we struggle, but I don't know how else to explain 50 runs and less than 20 passes. I would have preferred to win 50-0, but nothing before the Florida game ever matters, anyway. There have been plenty of times when we genuinely looked better than Florida going into the game only to have them suddenly become one of the best teams in the country.

If you haven’t studied the history of a Tennessee football game before Florida, then we usually have struggled. So, I’ve always see it from the 80’s,and 90’s, and most of now. Trust me, Pruitt will have this team ready.👍👍

Yesireeee! Our running game seems to be the most solid aspect on offense this early season. Whatever's been or is being straightened out, pass protection-blocking-wise (qb to receivers looks pretty good), best be continued this coming Monday.

I actually think our strength is the the passing game by far. (Mostly due to oline not being able to run block) so I hope to see more pass heavy play calling

Putting KC in destroyed our offensive rhythm. The bad play and low score is on the coaches exclusively.

Putting in Chyrst in the game, head scratcher for sure but not really.

The coaches didn’t cause Banks to fumble & Calloway to muff the punt.

Those are silly mistakes.

If this game was "cleaning things up" , I would hate to see what they consider sloppy.

Meanwhile, UF is dominating a legitimate opponent in Colorado ST.

Huh. .were we watching the same game. I guess the coaches committed all those offensive penalties that killed drives and the fumble at the goal line.

If that were close to what he told them, I'll help him pack. But, we don't know. It's hard to get all those guys focused on a much lesser team and not look on to Florida or Georgia. But, that's the coaching staffs job. We have problems on both sides of the ball with execution and assignments. Some seems as confused at times as Kesling does calling the game.

Watching Florida, their pass rush is going to eat our o line up. We're going to have to score on defense to win. We struggle in key situations with what might possibly be the worst team in football. I think we get beat pretty soundly at home next week.

Will Vol fan wish the season was already over after next week, perhaps
