Also, I looked at the route. We have to finish by running up the James White Pkwy ramp to the Coliseum...

Seems to me that's a pretty serious elevation change. I'm looking forward to it. It will mimic my normal route, but it's gonna be one hell of a struggle.

It kicked my azz in April. That part sucked.

Can't tell how difficult it is, because you can't see the other side. Could be rope ladder. Could be a wheel chair ramp. Could be an elevator.

Oh, yeah, good point. I saw it as they were climbing over from the other side, cuz the dood is running away from the ramp.

Looks like the warped wall on Ninja Warrior, which I've always wanted to try. I feel like I would be good at it, but I don't know.

This looks interesting...

Wonder if it is the Xterra Triathalon? Degree is a sponsor.

"While each off-road triathlon in the XTERRA America Tour is unique, the races generally combine a one-mile swim in an ocean, lake or river, a 20-mile mountain bike that includes hard climbs and fast descents on twisting single track trails, and a grueling multi-surface six-mile trail run. The XTERRA Trail Run Series offers more than 1,300 kilometers of off-road running nationwide and focuses on unrelenting half-marathon trail races that are adventures all to themselves."

I would love to do a triathalon, but I don't own a nice bike.

I don't know what the normal technique is for them, but I would do the entire swim portion backstroke and save energy for the run.
