The Zone Runs Thread - 2013

Your welcome.... Wish I could be running right next to you guys and gals. I want to like to run but I just HATE running!

Try a program. Compete with Slice. Run with us.

All solid suggestions.

From Gonzo and Voxx who ran thier first real 5k, to Gnome who just got back into running, to Thrash and Peach who have put up good times in races previously...we all did well at the Fireball 5k last night.

Voxx: 34:45
Gonzo: 34:07
Gnome: 30:15
Thrash: 25:47
Peach: 25:41

Great job guys! Smart move to run "behind" peach all day.

Y'all suck and you should each shave a minute or more on the next 5k. Make it happen.

I "run" on the elliptical.

I always viewed running as a punishment, because that's how my HS coach my freshman year operated. Full suicide for the whole team for every mistake made in games, made the say after games miserable, win or lose

Fastest time was 15 flat.

Exactly why I think getting hit by lightning would've made for sub-15 times.

I just can't wrap my head around anyone running that fast. It just seems impossible to me. Crazy fast. I'm perfectly happy with 25-26 mins for myself.

If I could learn to pace myself I could run sub-30, I think.

Even when I was in college and tried to run like these guys are now and I ran a lot I could never ever get below 18-19mins. I just don't see how people run that far that fast.

And that was on a track for me.

They have the freakish ability to stretch their legs to full extent on each stride. Look at Ocho Cinco's video on ESPN running at 24.0. They look like that.
