I know, that gif is getting old but in my defense that's only the second I've posted it.

Actually that's not true, but it's close. Lol.

@Behr

Do you have a specialty Running store in your area?

The idea of ordering a style of shoes I’ve never tried on scares me.

Thanks Jimmy.
I know he talked about Macy’s and whatnot, but I find it hard to believe there isn’t something close that carries them. And I spent 12 hours today for recruit possibilities that ultimately can’t join. Bite me over the fact that I missed a lot

I just said that because I said the same thing in whatever thread he talked about it. I looked to see if there was a Roadrunner Sports in FL, but there isn’t. I went there and ran on their machine that recorded how I ran and it helped.

When I was training for my first marathon I bought inexpensive shoes. After shin splints I went to a specialty store and was properly fit. Made a world of difference.

Shoes make a world of difference. I know Behr likes to try cheap first, but I can’t with running shoes. After spoiling myself, I don’t buy cheap or trendy shoes. I buy what works for me and just hope they’re under $200.

I asked because I tried a different pair of Ons that by the specs should’ve worked even better for me. Took em for a spin around the block and thought they were great. After 3 or 4 real runs, I knew they just wouldn’t work at all. On Running wouldn’t take those back, but the specialty Running store did for a full exchange to the style I had been using. @NorCalVol67 , the store was Pacers Running if you ever bought Running shoes during your time in NOVA/DC

I’m trying to remember the store. I am pretty sure it was in Alexandria.
