We even got pulled over by the ocean popo checking to make sure we didn't keep any. Ridiculous. It was 45 degrees and we were 16 miles out. Didn't see another boat fishing and he pulled us over on the way back in. It's a felony. I had no idea. Also didn't know that commercial fishermen can catch as many as they want, whenver they want, but a charter is now limited to 2 red snapper per fisherman, but only in season.

We caught and cooked sheepshead and flounder for dinner.

Mexico beach. And the first fish is a red snapper. Small marina here. I think we were the only boat to go out this morning. Small boat and we got out there quickly.

Nice Snapper. I didn't know much about the different types of Snapper until I moved here. Did the crew call it a specific type? "Ballbat", which that one in your pic isn't, the locals around here would call that one an "American".
