GB, wouldn't mind reading a long thread about your being a foster parent one day. How, when, why, etc. Would be an interesting read to me.

That might be a good thing to do. I have a blog that goes back to when we first got certified, but I need to update it.

Maybe I will just bring pages of that here to VN... Which forum should I put that in? Would this one work, even with the crazies hanging around?

I would say the Pub would be a better forum for it.

Would you be offended if I resized your pic so it fit the screen better?

This is a great sequence right here. It deserves to be preserved.

The GatorBill name came along about 12 years ago when I was listening to sports radio back in lansing MI. Dave MadDog Demarco was having some triva contest, and the winner was getting tickets to an MSU game.

The question: What school did Steve Spurrier play for.
and he even knew that tVisor won a Heisman trophy. But when the caller ahead of me said Duke, and WON!!!!???? Well, I went off on him when he got to me on the phone. He hit the dump button on me. I called back, he hit the dump button on me again.

A half an hour later, he finally figured out that I was right, and I got tickets to a movie or something out of him, because the game tickets were gone. From that day on he referred to me as GatorBill. He is a clown, but he is now a friend, and actually a pretty good dude. Just didnt do his homework on that one.

GB I think we'd be more than happy to have your blog posted in the zone. I can't speak for everyone but most here are good hearted people, who joke around about silly stuff, but respect people like you who chose to be a father and mentor to those who you didn't have to be

I cannot get to my blog here at work, because of the infamous "work filter" but later tonight I will start a thread and do some copy and paste work, and yall can read and comment, and probably laugh at me!! :)

And I agree with you, this place is filled with very good people, with good hearts, that like to blow off steam by being dipsticks when they can get away with it. I certainly understand that!

Will see what I can have on here by tomorrow am!! :)

OH, I forgot. The link to the blog is currently in the "ask gatorwilliam" thread. If yall want to read any of it you can get to it from there. And then, when you get to the blog, it reads backwards, so you have navigate back to the first post to get to the beginning of things.

I have to get back to it to update it. Life got a little busy and I havent been able to keep up with it. I have about 2 1/2 years of update to do :) but I will get a lot of that in soon.
