During my walk-a-bout....to the NAFM

Pilgrimage to the stash's plane.....Robin Old's F4. My Absolute hero as a kid. I always tried to do his markings and camo job on my models.

Place is huge I got like 8-9000 steps in. 7 or so hangers all big enough to make a Blackbird look like a toy. Son had to get a picture in front of every plane there.

He also got in a flight sim(this isn't it) with my wifey who was his "gunner". He does flights sims at home non stop, and while the other tourists were doing soft banks. Their pod suddenly flipped upside down and stayed that way for a moment when he went inverted, and I asked guy running it does this thing actually roll kinda worried as my wife is scared of heights etc? And he's like "Oh Yeah!" And Suddenly their pod is spinning as he chases down an enemy jet doing barrel rolls in a dog fight with a mig. I thought wifey might be ded. Instead she got out laughing saying she got 7 kills. Guy running it was impressed. I think we could have left him there and he'd been content to just stay there for the rest of summer.

Stop on the way up in Nash to try and beat my son at every level of Prince's Hot Chicken. I did not. F the XXX just F that..... and the mild is hotter then any chain spicey chicken place.

Also got adopted while in Dayton. Meet my eomeoni (mom) Suki. It's serious, paperwork and everything I think. I thought I was too old to be adopted after 50. But apprently not I know it because she made me all sorts of goodies like stir fried dried anchovies (Myeolchi Bokkeum), and garlic stem from her garden. Deff not on the menu. Her husband Max also adopted me.....and the final proof was they started to bring deserts to my son like fried icecream fish (Taiyaki ) no charge. Just doting on him like grandparents. I love this place. I won her over by ordering jjampong and saying I want it Korean Hot not Tourist Hot, and she told her husband to make it extra hotter then korean hot to teach us a lesson, and my son and I enhaled it.....(I mean after prince's XXX not even a problem. After that she was kinda shocked, and I told her about growing up eating Korean food etc, my friends Mom etc. She just started laughing and bringing us all sorts of her favorite personal stuff not on any menu. Song's Sushi right across from Wright Patterson AFB. I highly reccomend. They claimed me as an adopted son. I dunno what is expected of me though, will give updates.

Boy doesn't look like a boy anymore, turning into a young man. He's already about to pass me in a size 13. I kinda sad, right in the Dad. This place is his Disney World.

Highly recommend the NAFM, blows smithsonian away.

Go again in a couple yrs......you can't take it in......in just one day...Did U see the Valkorie (sp)?? just amazing!!! But the Black Bird made it obsolete!!
