learned today that little bit has what's called duplex kidney. She has 3, two on the right side, but healthy. Her new nickname is now Triple K. It's actually the way the right one devolped, and has two tubes, so it's two systems inside one bigger kidney.

Not technically, it's one big organ, but two kidneys together. They each have their own urinary tract, and both work as two different kidneys, all while being bonded together. It's weird to explain, I just learned about it today . We knew she had an extra tube from where she had surgery, but today is the first time they told us about the kidneys being that way.

Throw back......I met with Dad and my family at Red Lobster in 2007, it was actually next
door to an 8 hour driving school that I had to go to one year and so we met after
driving school and that year for his Birthday I gave him a football that was signed by
Peyton Manning when he played for UT.
