We have been talking a whole lot about Dobbs, CBJ, and everyone but those two guys who really made a noticeable difference in the game Jack Jones and Chance Hall. You could literally see Dobbs calm down in the pocket last night and you could see the talent level and athleticism those guys. Glad we had the chance to get them live SEC reps. They did more than held their own they actually competed at a high level.

Thank you Chance and Jack for being ready when CBJ called you.

Think they may have been ready earlier this season and that's alarming..

The flip side is we burned two red shirts and killed our depth rebuilding another year.

Honestly I am okay with that. It's about winning and if we win we can recruit kids to help us build more depth. I would say we are a year behind as long as we bring in at least 3 - 4 quality O-lineman this class.

Get Sanders and Maybe jackson back next season with several recruits ... All good with depth

Hall shutting down Floyd was possibly the difference in the game. That was the most pocket time Dobbs has had all season against a very good UGA pass attack.

Since all bets are off on getting freshmen on the O-line, what is the latest on Richmond? Is he injured or just not progressing as quickly as hoped?

Man I was loving it. How often do you see freshmen especially OL come in and get obliterated? But not these guys, they only didn't get obliterated. They started opening up holes and creating a pocket for their QB. Notice how many times in the game Tennessee ran to that side and was successful?

F the redshirt thing! If a player is ready to play at a contributing level and their number is called, they go play...enough with all this redshirt BS. It's about winning TODAY! Butch and staff will recruit talented players every year so quit whining about redshirts. Plus, both Jones and Hall have played in mop up duty already this season...no redshirt for them anyway.

Even if we had burned their redshirts last night, there really wasn't any choice. Robertson, Kendrick, Crowder all injured on the sidelines, Jones and Hall were next up. Thus bye week could not come at a better time for us, but I do agree that Jones and Hall proved themselves, and should be considered for starting against Bama.

Watch the play where Hurd runs over the DB. As he's falling J Jones is down there swatting a Dawg off as the whistle blows!

Hall and Jones on oline and Mckenzie and Tuttle on dline! I couldn't tell if Phillips was there but if so, our dline was at one point fresh, fresh, fresh, and soph!

That is crazy and yet they did very well!:clap:
