The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Yeah, probably underselling him. I'm more saying as a main eventer and having the tools in the next couple of years. He might need a manager unless he gets better with his English.
Yeah, his English has improved a lot. If he eventually breaks away from the Don Callis family I’m not sure who he’d work well with already on the roster as a face.

I wonder if they’re waiting for All In for the eventual blow off match between him and Okada.

The slow burn on Takeshita vs Okada feels like it's taken forever. But that's the point I guess. That one should be massive whenever it happens. I do wonder if they'll turn Fletcher too, at some point. Guy is over as @#$% and Callis can't keep this many guys in his stable forever.

Well looks like AEW has 3 out of 4 of the War Dogs. Last I saw Drilla Moloney had resigned with NJPW. Of course they can all still reunite, as needed, this way.

Good to see The Iconics The Inspiration in an AEW ring. Hopefully they were just paying some dues tonight. They've always been entertaining and should make some hay in the tag division.

That was a good show last night. very solid. AEW is on a heater right now. i love Callis heat lol.

Yeah, the show was pretty good overall last night. MJF and Kevin Knight was a really good start to the show and showed that Knight can hang with Main Event talent.

I was also a bit surprised that the Inspiration jobbed in a quick match. Hopefully, it's a one off. Maybe they're building Hayter and Windsor to be the next contenders for the tag belts.

Moxley had a good enough match. I got a chuckle when Takeshita came out after the match pointing at the Revolution sign like he was going to WrestleMania. In all seriousness, that should be a great rematch. I see Takeshita winning.

It's not that I don't like Thekla, but not as champion. I hated to see Thunder Rosa lose like that. I hope Stat wins in the rematch.

The 6 man tag was really good. MJF costing them the match really sets up a good story between MJF and Hanger.

The only complaint to me was getting confused with all the belts and who is champion of what.

Also, really like Swerve as a heel.

Honestly, I think Thekla is the best heel in AEW right now. I'm also not real big on Thunder. So I'm good with the outcome.

I still wonder what the are going to do with Hanger. Lord I hope they don't pin that "can't challenge for the title" thing on him. If you're gonna do that, say "for a year" or "while MJF holds the belt". You either have to give it to him now (mistake imo) or pull some serious shenanigans to prevent/fix it. It totally backfired with Cody and I bet it would happen again with Page.

Good points on all. Have to say I love Thekla though. Rosa used to be my favorite, but she lost me when she tried to pull her backstage power play crap.

AEW does have a lot of belts in play lol.

Surely Tony K has a plan for for Hanger should the clause stick.

Maybe turn him heel with Swerve? Hanger has been oddly quite about the whole Swerve "taking out" Kenny thing. I notice Strickland suddenly likes hanging people with that chain too.

But the whole thing gives me Cody flashbacks. I think they may actually give Hanger the belt back. They need to quit "hot shotting" belt around so much. I think they should re-unify the Continental and International belts too.

Totally agree. World titles should not be hot-shotted. Leave that to the National and TNT.

This is why I take a break from watching wrestling occasionally... Who wants to see Randy Orton turn heel and win his 15th World Championship Belt at WrestleMania.. let the young dogs eat...

Yeah,That's why I hated Breakker getting injured. I believe he was supposed to win the Rumble and face Punk before getting injured. WWE has been bit by the injury bug recently. I read where Jordynne Grace got hurt on Main Event last night. Another ankle injury.

I think Cody winning was just a reason to finally face Orton since they have a history with each other.
