The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Maybe it's just me, but I think Cena against Rollins would be more entertaining than Cena against Reigns. Not enough time and dates left, but to see Cena have to go through the two Brons to get to Rollins could be entertaining.
I could get behind that as well. But I think they’re going to go a different direction now that Cena no longer holds the belt.

TK said Jay White will be out for a long time.

Hopefully Colton isn’t out for awhile. Gunns are one of the better young tag teams IMO.

Fletcher put on a great match and just signed a multi-year deal. Definitely see him as a future world champ.

I need a Rush v Hangman match on Dynamite.
Rush needs and deserves to be in some sort of upper-mid to main event level title picture.

I thought it was when they were using NXT to counter program.

But, this is a main roster PPV. It's odd to be throwing that together barley a month out to counter a promotion you "don't veiw as competition".

Yeah, that's kind of odd. Its almost as if they view AEW as competition. Lol....

All about shifting the media attention. AEW’s show will be better but Cena v Brock will obviously get all the coverage.
Curious to see what the numbers end up being. If WWE end up stealing most of the viewers from the weekend, it's just what was supposed to happen. If AEW hold it's own, it'll be a big victory for them. This strategy has the potential to backfire big time.

I prefer WWE, but I will watch All In live and watch the WWE one afterwards on Peacock. I don't really know if it matters much, people will still watch both.

I’m on the Heel Turn episode of Unreal. The fact Travis Scott was one of the 8 people who knew about the Cena heel turn makes me hate the heel turn even more. I also find it interesting it’s Nick Kahn and not HHH who talks the most about including The Rock and using his star power to push the narrative. It adds more to the intrigue of there being some beef between the two camps.

A lot of folks will probably do the same if I had to guess. But that'll mean WWEs counter programming was unsuccessful, even with them rolling Cena and Brock out there. It's potentially some bad optics imo.
