There's been plenty of interviews where that match was brought up and it's never been mentioned. On top of that Brock and Taker are friends, he wouldn't take the most legendary thing in wrestling into his own hands like that.I’m more interested as to why you think Brock didn’t say screw the script and beat taker than this.
If Lesnar went that far off script to screw the most hallowed record in wrestling, he'd have been scheduled to lose to Hornswoggle the next day and future endeavored while he was still standing in the ring.Maybe so but it fits Lesnar to do exactly that. Do whatever I want because they won’t fire me anyway.
He's been "great"...for Brock. By normal standards he's been OK. As for Cena, he is the model of a "company man" in WWE and was protected in his booking during his career, much like Brock. John can say whatever he wants about the first half of the RR. It was boring. The fans reaction to the Claymore that eliminated Lesnar and the silence for 20 minutes before that says it all.I think Brock has been great recently, this run is much better than his last run.
I agree with what Cena said about him, except for him being the best ever. But he's right about him being great, selling when he needs to and getting guys over when he needs to.
The whole first half of the Rumble was to build up to that moment and get Drew over even bigger. He's been "great"...for Brock. By normal standards he's been OK. True, but that's how most of Brock's matches go. He is put over as unstoppable the majority of the time and his opponent(s) get little flurries of offense. We all get excited for a second when we get a break in the; German suplex, Brock gloating, a few strikes, futile attempt by the opponent, german suplex, angry Brock, F5, pattern. Any good match could get a similar reaction 3 or 4 times in the same time span. The cheers the crowd gave when he was eliminated at the rumble were of relief, not excitement. The whole first half of the Rumble was to build up to that moment and get Drew over even bigger.
