Firstly, a decent ppv overall. I really enjoyed the Elias segment. He's probably my favorite guy on the roster now.

Secondly, I keep hearing that Roman is Vince's top guy. I don't think that is the case. I think he is more of a HHH guy.

Say what you want, but HHH has clearly shown he knows how to run a wrestling show today with NXT.

All in and all Backlash was one of the worst PPVs in recent memory.

Triple H pushes people that get over with fans . He doesn’t push random people because he loves there potential or because there home grown talent .

Bull****. Rollins vs Miz was great, Nakamura vs AJ was really good, Carmella vs Charlotte was good, Nia vs Alexa was ok, Orton vs Jeff was solid like they both always are. Just because Reigns won the "main event" doesn't make the entire show terrible.

I also didnt think it was a bad ppv. nakamura and aj is getting old though.

Vince has no idea how to run a wrestling promotion but I do any or all of the following:

1. Watch it on TV
2. Pay for the network
3. Buy merch
4. Talk about it on the internet
5. Go to events

Yeah, that Vince. What a real idiot.

What do you mean? I think the evolution of wrestling has been perfect. the addition of statistics by the commentators, the espn/bleacher report coverage and match ratings, the dissolving of the doinks, glaciers, and mantar like characters from the roster. he's taken it from the gimmicky hillbilly jim's and turned into a spectacle that social media loves. when i was growing up there were certain people that i had to hide my love for wrestling from because id get the "you know its not real" crap. now almost everyone tunes in to the big ppvs and knows at least something that's going on in wwe. even the different branding of smackdown and raw and the separation of titles. i think wrestling today is a great product.

I think the biggest issue people had with Backlash was the fact that Reigns main evented over The WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. I had an issue with that also because you're basically saying that Reigns is bigger than the title. I also feel like they could've had one of the tag titles on the line instead of a meaningless tag match between Braun/Lashley and Owens/Zayn. They could have probably done the other tag titles too instead of the Elias segment.

You have incredibly low standards. Just because the opener was great doesn’t justify the rest of the card.
