- As noted,*Sami Zayn*was not in yesterday's*Greatest Royal Rumble*match in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Sami is of Syrian descent and started the #SamiForSyria mobile clinic in Syria last Summer. Saudi Arabia and Syria cut off relations in 2012. Sami did make mention of being in the match on*Raw*this past Monday night when he said that the the event was called "The Greatest Royal Rumble" because*Kevin Owens*and himself were going to win the Rumble match, although later a segment was shot where Sami said he wasn't feeling well and hinted that he wouldn't be able to go to Saudi Arabia.*WWE*has since sent out a statement about Zayn's absence:

"WWE is committed to embracing individuals from all backgrounds while respecting local customs and cultural differences around the world."

The best I can gather is that Brock was supposed to roll over have his feet touch first. But since that didn't happen, thats why there was a pause before they announced Brock as the winner. My guess is that since Brock was booked to win but Romans feet touched first they had to get instructions from Vince on what to do.

Apparently the crown prince of Saudi Arabia requested for The Ultimate Warrior, Yokozuna and The Undertaker to be part of the Greatest Royal Rumble.

This isn't the same Drew McIntyre that got released a few years ago. I'm not saying he should win it tonight or anything but I don't believe it would be dead silence if he did. With a proper build to him facing Lesnar, I believe that the crowd would really get behind Drew.

Uhhh Drew McIntyre has the look, mic skills, and in ring talent. If you think he’s still the same guy as his 3MB Days, you’re surely mistaken. Dude could easily beat Brock and people would eat it up. Has main eventer written all over him.

Im really sick of people booing Roman . He has gotten worlds better and doesn’t deserve them . Most people have no idea why there booing him either .
