After last night I wonder if the plan for Ospreay isn't longer term than London in August. I wasn't expecting him to eat a clean pin from Mox the way he did. The United Empire will almost certainly turn on him. With Callum Newman holding the IWGP belt he can't afford to be "Little Brother" anymore. So I think Will's fall may just be beginning. If he faces MJF at All In, he might just lose.I think it was a great show and a really good main event to cap it off. I think the reason Omega didn't win was because as you said @JCHateSteve that they could be building something up for Ospreay after the loss to Moxley. Some kind of redemption story?
I think it will be a long term build a few more months until he beats MJF. I'm still interested where they'll go with it. I could be wrong.
So, you expect them to use the Hangman formula with Ospreay? I was shocked he lost like he did, but it does open up interesting ideas to explore. After last night I wonder if the plan for Ospreay isn't longer term than London in August. Was thinking of Cody losing to Roman at Mania then coming back the next year and finally taking him down and ascending the to be #1 babyface. I know AEW doesn't usually book that long term. But Ospreay has to have his moment in London eventually and I'm not sure you can build it properly in 4 months. So, you expect them to use the Hangman formula with Ospreay?
