The WRASSLIN’ Thread

As long as WWE has this deal with TNA, I figure that will continue as they phase out the old TNA and keep what they want. (WWE that is)

As far as Hobbs,I wouldn't be surprised if he left. Good big man for WWE. I don't think Tony has any plans for him anytime soon because he books a long time in advance and I think Ospreay is their next champ.

I think that's a good move for Hobbs, he's kind of been stagnant for the last year. WWE knows how to use big men better. Trios titles probably going over to the JetSpeed Cowboys I'm sure.
He's definitely got the look. Hopefully he'll be able to find a way to stand out. I wonder what his repackage will look like? He'll almost certainly get one.

I'm glad he finally got a world title reign. He was overdue one.

I always hated it that Daniels didnt get a short run with the belt when he was in his prime. As loyal as he was and great talent to boot. I agree with Kaz. I guess its the timing with me. He's a good heel doing some of his best work. I loved him and Daniel's in Bad Influence.

Got to love the World tag team champions of the world.

Been tuned out of AEW for roughly 4 months or so…why the hell is MJF champ again lol

He won it at last months Worlds End PPV in a fatal four way against Joe,Hangman and Swerve.

I think Ospreay is the guy they're building up to take it off him at the London PPV.

After watching the TNA show tonight, I don't think I'll be watching much if any after this. The only thing worth watching was AJ and the main event. Santana regained in a good, short title match with Kaz.

The women's tag title match was really awkward and full of mistimed spots. Speaking of that,The Inspiration are now free agents. I don't think they were completely to blame for that match, and they would help boost the AEW womens tag division.

Elayna Black/ Cora Jade is now a knockout after being let go from WWE about a year ago.

I realized why I quit watching it to begin with. Its become a place for NXT talent who have nothing booked to shine. I see why most of the original hold overs from D'Amores TNA are letting contracts run out and going elsewhere (Mostly AEW) It was just a whole bunch of blah to me and I try not that negative about wrestling.

Yep. TNA has turned into NXT-lite for the most part.

Watched some of the AMC debut. Thought the same thing. Glad to see Santana doing well though. Hopefully they can start to rebuild their own identity at some point. They didn't shy away from talking about guys in AEW I noticed.

I just don’t think MJF really needs the world title. He can carry a fued without it. But Ospreay or Kenny (he seriously needs at least 1 more big run with it) beating him for it could be really good, so I’ll allow it. Give it to Kenny and have Okada beat Kenny for it imo lol. Okada is also due a run on top there.

Side note, how’s Takeshita doing these days? Guy is incredible.

A lot happened on Collision.
I can’t decide if “We’ve Got Hair” or “Speedball @#$&” was the best chant of the night.
Andrade and Ortiz are officially back
The Death Riders and Callis family had a brawl. I think all of TDR might actually turn “face”. Takeshita didn’t look pleased with Don either.

I'm gonna miss Will Hobbs in AEW. Y'all WWE folk let me know how his debut goes.

Takeshita is in the Callis family. He has spent a lot of time in Japan recently as he was the IWGP World Champ until Wrestle Kingdom. He seems set to finally start a long bubbling feud with Okada, despite them both being with Callis. They had a teaser of a match during the Continental Classic. Tonight was his first appearance in AEW after losing the New Japan "Big Belt".

Interesting, but not surprising. She's accomplished a lot already and has become pretty popular as a female. I understand her wanting to be there for her family. I'll be sad when she retires, but more power to her.
