I think it depends on the match and the title. I'm not a fan of it for the world title in 3 or 4 way type matches or the more "out there" gimmick matches. But "hardcore", no DQ, and last man standing type matches have become so ingrained in the industry that I don't bat an eye at it. The same could be said for cage matches. I wouldn't think anything about a title change in a one on one Hell in a Cell. As long as the "escape the cage" option is omitted, I see no issue with it.True. it is becoming more common nowadays. I have just never been a fan of major titles being changed in gimmick matches.
Sometimes the predictable is the right outcome. This is one of those instances. The only swerve should be Strickland hitting Mox with a house call.I think it depends on the match and the title. With all that said. The vibe coming off AEW is that Hanger is definitely going to win this match and be the conquering hero redeeming himself. It feels like everything is primed for a giant "swerve" to me.
I completely agree that's what should happen. But anytime something seems like a certainty, I get suspicious lol.Sometimes the predictable is the right outcome. This is one of those instances. The only swerve should be Strickland hitting Mox with a house call.
IMO
That said, if Swerve and Ospreay lose that would certainly open the door for a Swerve heel turn.
Your imagination is overbooking hahaI completely agree that's what should happen. But anytime something seems like a certainty, I get suspicious lol.
I'd actually expect a heel turn more if Ospreay and Swerve win the match with the Bucks. I know they said they'd give the EVP slot "to the people". But that could be one of them being full of it. I could see a heel turn that joins one or both with Don Callis and this whole thing being a plan from Don to wrest control of the company from the Bucks. Their has been illusions to The Bucks not trusting him despite working with The Family of late and Swerve not trusting Will with the EVP slot.
It could be foreshadowing, or I might be seeing ghosts. But I expect shenanigans.
I think Orange is still injured. Torn peck last I saw. Not sure about the other two.And where is Orange Cassidy? And Jack Perry? And I hear Luchasaurus is ready and cleared as well.
