Interesting ending there. I’m happy Gunther got it as I was getting tired of the Jey run, he’s just not that compelling in the ring or on the mic. But Gunther winning is odd in the sense that I have to ask: now what? With Jey we have a lot more storyline possibilities out there, especially with Sami and then the Rollins stable. But with Gunther, there’s no immediate wrestler I can point at and say that he’s got beef with that guy.

Gunther is ready for a face turn. He’s arguably the best all-around wrestler currently on the roster.

I’d agree with that. I also just don’t think he’s a good in-ring wrestler. I mean at MITB we had what felt like a 10-15 minute stretch of him trying to sell being unable to get the tag. It looked terrible.

I can see that. Julia's last run was decent.

Aminata is probably ready for a a title. In the short term I think they should let Athena take the TBS belt, then give the queen her a run with the ROH belt.
