The WRASSLIN’ Thread

I watched AEW for the first time Wednesday night, I have to admit that I’m a fan. The in-ring wrestling was night and day different from WWE. I think I’d like a bit more of the WWE style promos, but from a first time watch, I’m a fan.
Definitely not a promo heavy show but this week was even lighter than usual. The in-ring wrestling is where AEW shines and the ppvs especially deliver.

So I’m actually curious about that, do I have to pay for the PPVs or are they streamed somewhere similar to WWE’s streaming them on Peacock?

Great time to check out for summer.

All In is approaching and it’s AEW’s biggest show of the year. They’ll also have a special Grand Slam Dynamite at Arena Mexico, which is a huge deal.

Blood and Guts (War Games) and Forbidden Door, which is a joint PPV with New Japan and CMLL also take place in the summer.

Crazy good Collision tonignt. Until the feed up and disappeared.

Apparently the west coast will get to see the show in it's entirety. But the rest of us will have to wait until Max puts it up.

The show was taped. How the #&[ ] does that happen? I'm more than a little annoyed with WB.

Finally getting to finish Collision tonight.

In another classic from Mrs. HateSteve, during the Wheeler Yuta vs Hobbs match, she glances at the TV, looks at Wheeler's ring gear for a split second, and asked "do his pants say Puta? Can they say that in TV"?

Karrion Kross was a guest on the show today. Starts around the 1:56:00 mark and goes for roughly 90 min. Just an excellent interview, IMO. I really like this guy after hearing about his backstory. Very interesting and entertaining. I think he’s going to get his long awaited push soon.

Im not sure where he goes, but it was time to leave TNA.He did everything that could be done barring the world title. After the injury to Bey ,I was surprised they didn't put the World Championship on him. He could do a little bit of everything.
At 5'8" I'm not sure WWE is a good path for him. He'd probably kill it in NXT. But I doubt he'd get much play on the main roster. Maybe New Japan? He's been associated with Bullet Club before. Or he could go to Maple Leaf Pro and try to help build a promotion? He'd likely do well in AEW. But things seem a little full right now so I'm not sure the time is right. I bet NWA would love to have him.
