The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Solid Dynamite.

Hanger vs MJF should be good. They have chemistry and can both do well at telling a story in the ring. That might be my favorite of the upcoming ppv matches.

Big Bill is gonna have to break away from Jericho sooner or later. He's got the juice to go it alone IMO. Maybe he can take the ROH belt off Chris.

"Dicochet" continues to work better than I would have thought. The knock on the guy has always been his mic work. But this heel turn has flipped that script. Everytime he talks I want to slap the taste out his mouth.

Toni is still hilarious.

Good to see Orange back in the light colored denim and back to his usual self. I think they got the winner wrong tonight though.

Roderick Strong bores me to tears, i didn't even watch that match. I'm glad OC won.

Another excellent show continuing the trend lately.

Agree on all points.

I feel like Roddy should have won, you know, they could even chalk it up to Orange having ring rust or something, but this could be the beginnings of a feud between Cole and Orange. And Undisputed Kingdom feels like they're hanging on by a thread. Where are Taven and Bennett? Where is Wardlow?

Toni was fantastic as ever.

I think the wrestling "media" is negatively effecting AEW growth. There are too many grifters who only speak negatively about AEW because it makes them a little money and they want to be invited to the post ple press conferences. Or they are already in bed in WWE and only speak negatively about AEW.
And on top of that you have all these random pro WWE/ Anti AEW Twitter accounts who are constantly making up anti AEW discourse.

Oh it's true. It's damn true!

Basic story telling is heels roll out of ring. At the very least, Ford convinces Bayne to leave the ring.

Got really awkward when Ford tried to yank the chair away.
And it looked like Thunder wanted to swing the chair but couldn't aim for the head so she just had it cocked back all awkward looking. Maybe they were supposed to exit the ring sooner and it drew out longer than it was supposed to

Thunder was obviously expecting them to run from the chair wielding face, which is what you would expect. The only other ways that really could have gone was for the 2 on 1 to prevail and the heels give Thunder a beating or a pull apart. Even if there was a miscommunication, you'd think they would have bailed out of the segment and left the ring sooner, rather than start grabbing at the chair. I think somebody went into buisness for themselves.

Collision is in a good groove.

Do we get Undisputed v Death Riders or does Cope take them all out before Revolution? They’ve also hinted at Cole v Garcia.

Love they’re keeping the Harley momentum going.

Are we gonna get the Julia/Hayter rubber match?

This Max Caster bit is working. The ref putting his trademark across his body post match and him lifting it triumphantly had me laughing.

Also, the Outrunners are gold. “This could be good…..or it could be bad.”

Revolution is in two weeks. Yuta and Claudio still need to get taken out. A tag match match with Undisputed would work for that. My guess is that's what happens. Which frees up Cole to have a match with Garcia. Personally I hope The Opps take the trios belts.

I think my favorite part of the show was MVP telling Lance Archer to take himself more seriously after calling out his shtick with squash matches. I'm a fan of Archer, but that was funny.

The "please retire" chant at Jerhico was amusing as well.

That line came off a bit “burying” for me.
