I find I don't mind it when the celebs actually put in the work. Bad Bunny and Logan Paul are two celebs who've put in the work and taken the bumps. What I always hated was when celebs "tagged" with wrestlers and just came in at the end for the pin. Logan Paul especially has put his body on the line.Hate celebs going over active superstars. It's one step above them having the 45th DX reunion to bury more current talent....

I've never seen Mike Tyson springboard off a top rope, halfway across the ring, to collide midair with another wrestler. Paul has done some moves Tyson would never dream of.Logan Paul could belong if he wanted to. He's got the size and look to go with what you mentioned. He's on par with Mike Tyson going over, in terms of believability right now.
Bad Bunny just doesn't have the size to win the way he did tonight. It would be one thing if he stole a win. But he beat Priest clean after Damien called in the dogs. He didn't even get a real assist from the LWO. They just cleaned up Judgment Day. On top of that, he is apparently more effective at taking a knee apart than Dean Malenko.
It was a good match. But it cost a lot to put over some who's part time at best.
Bad Bunny deserves mad props for the work he put in. He's put on several great matches. I'm not saying the dude is David Arquette. It just comes off a little hokey. No one seriously thought Vega was beating Rhea and one "home town face" had to win.I've never seen Mike Tyson springboard off a top rope, halfway across the ring, to collide midair with another wrestler. I get what you're saying about Bad Bunny, but there have been plenty of instances where wrestlers who had no business winning, won. Bunny told the story IMO. I'm not saying he's the greatest ever or anything, but he took the time to tell the story. Most celebs don't do that.
I think Priest will be just fine, btw.
Overall I would give Backlash a B. Without that white-hot crowd I would say B- or C+. 2 really good matches (Bianca/Iyo & Rhea/Zelina) and the rest kind of ho-hum average.
