The Wr.........

Can't nobody on the field run with JH. Dude looks like a friggin TN walking horse the way he stretches his legs out to run. Brings the knees up and stretches that foot out foward and balls down the field. Hunter and Rodgers are studs.

Not sure how another other than a homer can say Tennessee. JH is coming off a serious injury and CP hasn't played a down at this level... add that to the fact we lost our 3rd best (2nd without Hunter) WR from last year and we don't really compare to the top couple.

Agreed.

We have the potential, but USC's WR's are proven.

As others have said, If Hunter comes back 100% this fall, the possibilitys are through the roof. Any word on how hunter did today in practice? It would give some indication as to how far along his knee really is.

USCw is No.1 Woods and Lee are hell. Clemson is No.2 with the Monster Sammy Watkins as the leader. Then I guess there's us and our "ifs" but huge amounts of talent. We probably have the QB with the strongest arm out of the bunch. So we'll see what happens. Healthy I wouldn't trade our guys for any in the country though.

USCw easily right now. If Hunter is healthy, UT could possibly be right there with them. I wouldn't expect CP to make an immediate impact. Jucos usually need an adjustment period.

Pre-injury, the rogers/hunter duo had by far better stats across the board than anyone in the country as sophomores. Rogers then continued dominance well after the absence of hunter, with double coverages, and missing the starting quarterback. Anyone who actually take the time to do their research and watch film would know that we have the best top group of receivers in the nation.

On another note, watch out for Bama's reciever's this year, their passing group was quite young and served as more of a sideshow to the TR parade, and there is loads of potential there. It pisses me off.

I'll take D Rogers for 7 Alex. Piss on USCw. Out of all of the top receivers in the country - I would place D Rogers as the most physical, talented, ready for Sunday play player in the NCAA. Physically he is ready. Mentally he needs another season to grow. With Justin back in the lineup, and the addition of Pig and Patterson, this will only push D Rogers to the next level. With Bray concentrating on moving to the next level, all of our receivers will be dangerous but DaRick is the one that will push the envelope. And don't count out Croom. Kid is big and physical.

He's not better than Sammy Watkins period(in any aspect). Robert Woods is very good out at USCw and a more consistent WR. Woods has been a monster for two years running so don't come trying to compare stats. He would be good down here in the SEC too so don't do the conference stuff. Rogers is good whenever he wants to be. I loved the D.Rogers that played against Fla.(he showed a lot in that game), Vandy(really stepped up and was unstoppable at times), and Cincy. Against LSU he punished the Badger but Claiborne shut him all the way down. The SCAR game he didn't do what star NFL ready player does. Against UK we don't even need to talk about that. The UGA game he showed a lot of toughness. Bama he was winning his matchups but he had Simms at QB. He looked good that game though. Da'Rick is a very good player though and I'm glad he's on our team. But I also take off my orange shades sometimes.

If by truth you mean head case, you're absolutely right. Da'rick is good, but he's also nuts.

For the people saying JH won't come back 100% this year that is fine with me. JH at 100% is an All-American without a doubt, at 90% is a first team All-SEC, at 80% second-team All-SEC. Some of you don't realize just how much the game completely changes with both JH and DR on the field together. If you can't double up on either one of them it's going to be a really long day. JH is absolutely unguardable on deep jump ball situations. Even when it's not a jump ball he stops short unexpectedly and turns around and makes it into a jump ball situation, he just has the instinct and insane leaping abilities. He is EXACTLY like Kenny Britt for the Titans and it is very ironic that they both tore ACLs early in the year after showing as much promise as they did last year.

My Prediction: JH-1350 yards
DR- 1100
CP-400
MR-300
All others combined- 800
With Bray finishing with around 4k yards passing for the season.

a healthy tyler Bray and J.hunter would have at least gotten us 3more wins, a better running game, and at least an extra 1,000 yards in the passing game. It would have also put less pressure on our suspect defense last year. You also have 2 remember clemson had a decent running game, so S.Watkins wasnt doubled as much as D.Rogers, and they had a good defense(K. Steele was a D.Coordinator candidate b4 their bowl game). S. Watkins is a great receiver, but i wouldn't trade him for D.Rogers bc of his physical play and his proven production in the SEC.....

T. Bray will throw for 500 yds the second game of the season, unless we decide 2work more on our running game 2hide our passing attack against Florida

Nice to see a couple of comments about Croom when discussing this WR corps. I see this kid getting a lot of playing time as a freshman. He is a beast with a lot of talent and is frothing at the bits to get here this summer and show what he can do.

GO VOLS:rock:

I like our wrs, probably not the best going into the season but we can get there. Cp,croom, and pig will be huge this season imo. Let's hope jh can play at a high level this season. This is the most excited ive been heading into a season in a long time. I'm so sick of getting smashed in sec play, let's hope this season we return to the top of the east

Last month "Bleacher Report" had Tennessee ranked 5th as far as wide receiver duo's go. Oklahoma, Clemson, West Virginia and of course USCw were listed above us Nationally.

Looks like it was based off of production last year (at least for the most part), as well as potential for this year. Based off of that, I can see 5th (for now), since Justin was out for most of the year. Mid season polls on this should be much more telling IMO.

According to this though......best WR corps in the SEC. By mid season, hopefully best in the country! :loco:

If everyone stay healthy and JH is the same person we saw pre-injury then Tennessee is the best with JH's deep threat, Da'Ricks physicality, then throw in Patterson, Pig, Croom, and Zack Rogers. Thats not even mentioning Rivera, Downs, and Clear at TE. The fact that Tennessee can come out with any combination of these player should scare any secondary

Guys did everyone forget Da'Rick was probably moving to the slot.A safety doe not match up on Da'Rick at all. This receiver corps. is stacked no matter which way you look at. I'm glad JH DR CP JR VD choose to wear the Orange. We have as much talent at the position then anyone in the country. And to say that the PAC12 WR face anything close to what you see in the SEC is absurd and IMO, lets just say those that make that claim need their heads checked. GBO
