And the refs along the way, the non call on the dude that rolled over okpara is absolutely egregious, no excuse to miss that.

A no call would have been okay if Cyril had simply run into Okpara. But he obviously, intentionally plowed into Felix. Intentional push. That should have ended the game with 2 free throws and the ball. Cyril did that same move a little earlier on the other end of the court.

The rule book doesn’t have different definitions based on how much time is left in a game.

That was a very satisfying win.

Absolutely domination of the boards is why we won (winning in different ways).

Respect for UGA shifty pg, he and catchings almost willed them to a win. Keying on catchings in second half was good coaching move.

Cyril is a dirty player.

UGA pressing all game wore them down and it showed late in the game.

Our offense stalls when Gillespie is out but good to see Estrella cleaning up.

Barnes continues to draw up A+ in bounds plays with the game on the line and Gillespie came up a little short for the buzzer beater.

The difference: A light has come on for Nate Ament.
Definately. AND, Barnes didn't pull Gillespie when he got in foul trouble. The worst move Barnes has made as a HC is when we had a 17 pt. lead on UK, Gillespie got his second foul in the first half, and Barnes put him on the bench. Our offense stalled and UK closed the gap before halftime. Had he left Gillespie in, little doubt we would have maintained or expanded our lead because UK looked defeated before that move.

I almost agree. But if they had called that a technical foul would have literally given the game to UT. Not a fan of refs deciding the outcome of a game.
A tic tac foul I agree with your statement on refs deciding the game but their job is to call real fouls when they occur, especially one like this one. The outcome of the game is not their concern.
