otis nixon was the most underrated leadoff man of all time. just like mark lemke was the most underrated 2nd basemen(and AA pitcher/manager) of all time.

the braves are so easy to hate.

The 1991 Braves season is why baseball is my 2nd fav sport next to college football.

all joking aside. i know that lemke and blauser were cheesey, but that lineup was stacked full of stars. every single one of their pitchers could've been the ace on any other team in the nation.

Its all about role players working together to do what is expected of the team. which the Yankees and the Sox will never grasp. Thats why last year down here in Tampa i got to relive that magical year of 1991. great defense, great pitching and unsung heros.
