no you wont. we beat Florida with a last second FG and fans storm the field.. Rocky Top blaring, Fireworks ablaze... you will be absorbed into the emotion and you will run quicker than you have ever ran in your life onto that field.... years from now it will be remembered as the game where UT turned the corner in our rise to prominence once again.

It's called emotional contagion, emotion spreads like wildfire and you won't be able to control yourself. If you stay seated, you'll be one of few and will miss out on a memory you will never forget..

Go Vols... I'll see you on the field after the game!

Rushing the field against Florida this year is the equivalent of finding Mike Tyson in a wheelchair with broken legs and arms, punching him out of his wheelchair and then running around with your arms up in the air telling everybody you just defeated Mike Tyson for the Heavy Weight Championship. Is it ok to go ahead and beat him while he's down.....sure, the dude ate peoples ears and beat up women. Does that mean you run around with you chest puffed out, talking about whooping Mike Tyson??? No

We can argue all dang day but the fact of the matter is that the students now have not seen tennessee beat Florida since they were in elementary school and like one guy said perhaps never. They will beat Butch and Mushchamp to mid field.

Growing up in the fulmer era where we were title contenders year in and year out i for one will be an embarrassed ut fan if we storm the field after beating a bad florida team for the first time in a decade. Its a noon sec network game, not cbs, espn, etc.. Very bad look for ut to flood the field. Puts us in that ky,vandy bracket... please dont.

Out of curiosity how many of you saying we shouldn't rush the field are the same fans that sit all game and get upset when those in front of you stand? Seems like you all are confusing emotion and desperation.

Hey let's not get excited about anything ever. That way we can show the recruits and the players how much we dont care about a big win. Yes, it is a big win because its been 10 years and I hate them with a passion. I would rush it every time we beat them out of hatred alone. Don't forget to sit on your hands the whole game and lets try to keep it quiet also please. I swear to God some of you must have sad lives that you constantly come up with reasons not to celebrate big things. You must not have bday parties because you will have another bday next year. GO VOLS!!!

The fans that dont want to see us rush the field are the same fans that have had season tickets throughout generations and actually understand ut football history and respect it enough to not disrespect previous ut players and coaches by flooding the field over a game were suppose to win. Real ut fans get that, others wanna change the uniforms every year, rush the field, fire coaches everytime a few bad breaks come. real ut fans get it... Ut has the most wins of any program since 1950. Respect that and act like youve been there before. Cause ut has been there and done that plenty.

Agree on all points except the Uniforms. Kids love awesome alternate uniforms and it doesn't hurt recruiting to show we know what kids like.

Be excited, hell everyone will. But rushing the field? Just not the right team, time or game for it. It has its place but not beating this Florida team.

I am not going to get into a real fan debate BUT I agree with what a lot of people have said. It would be like Kentucky rushing the field after beating Vandy.

How many teams that beat us for the first time in forever in the last few years rushed the field and how many of them conducted themselves with a little class?

Hell the SCjr game last year was FAR more "rushable" than this years Florida game.

Def be excited. Celebrate your butt off. But beating a florida team that won 4 games last year and looks terrible again this year... be happy but flood the field? really? Ut is bigger than that.

We should never rush the field for ANY win. Ridiculous! Act like you've been there before... Which we have PLENTY of times.

Right?! If we win we will be 1-9 against Florida the last decade. Rushing the field will look stupid and lame. The sec and florida will laugh their a** off. Be Tennessee. Not Kentucky.
