I can't step on sidewalk cracks and I would prefer stepping over the crack with the same foot each crack.

Weirdest OCD type habit I think has to be that I straighten the grocery store shelves as I shop. Not entirely, just from what I buy. If i get a box of cereal, I'll face the remaining boxes to make it look nice.

I worked in a beer cooler in a large liquor store when I was younger. I now pull the next item to the front every time I take something from a cooler door in any store.

I'm not that extreme, but I used to be bad about doing it. I always credited my time working at a grocery when I was in high school.

I assume it partly stems from my time in retail. I become infuriated when someone decides they don't want something and they just throw it on the shelf they are closest too

I don't know if it classifies as weird or not but I have the need to be in control of all situations and a fear to inconvenience anyone...like I'm responsible for making everything perfect. I don't know. It's hard to explain.

when crossing striped pedestrian walks I have to step on all the stripes or none of them. I will unconsciously change my stride. I didn't even notice this OCD till my friends called me on it in college. and if one of the stripes is worn away it bothers the bejesus out of me.

also when eating sandwiches i have to do something between bites of the sandwich. eat a chip, take a sip of a drink, something.

also i ride MARTA and i get in a certain door on the train because it stops the closest to the exit at my stop. also i don't sit on the train. that is more laziness than OCD i think.

i head bang to classical music (not TSO), including but not limited to piano and violin solos.

if i can't remember the name of a show/movie or actor (or just about anything) i will think on it for months until it hits me and then I have to tell the person. I just did this with my dad. I couldn't remember the name of the movie (short circuit) back around christmas, i remembered in February. i called and texted him the answer.

I love it when people put meat from the frozen food section in a place that is unrefrigerated like housewares. It's like all of a sudden they were like, I don't need these 20 drumsticks any more. Oh there's a shelf, I'll just put it there.

I can't stand that. I used to work at Target and I hated when people would just put stuff where ever they saw fit.

I still to this day make sure that I put stuff back where I got in stores.

I wear a watch that is intentionally stopped at 9:43, the exact time of my birth. Have done this since i was 16. My way of believing 'you have from this moment, so get going'.

Rarely eat hush puppies to this day because an uncle told me as a child that they were made from actual puppies. Horrified me to no end. Real joksters, the fam.

When I was about 10 my mom got this rotisserie hot dog cooker. After she took it out it looked like a guys member where the prongs had been in the ends of it. I threw it in the trash. To this day I refuse to eat hot dogs, brats, polish sausage or anything that goes on a hot dog bun.

I used to do this in the car as a kid. I would jump over any shadows, alternating sides, with my teeth. Weird to find someone else who did it

I'll "hop" over the lines in the road by nodding my head up and down sometimes. Guess it's something to do when riding in a car.

When I was a kid I played a game in my head where I would see how far the car could go with some part of it always touching a shadow on the road. I would get excited for things like power lines and roads lined with trees.

I also have a weird habit where sometimes as I'm thinking a sentence I'll "type" it out by lightly twitching my fingers in the same motions that they would make on a keyboard.

I eat Nutty Buddies one layer at a time.

I can only use even numbers for volume.

I wear underwear as little as possible; free balling is a way of life.

I have what I call "lazy OCD". OCD like symptoms assault me all the time, but I'll only do something about it if it's not out of the way for me. If it's out of the way I'll just sit there staring at it pissed off.

Whenever I have sex I always have to pee after doing the deed.

I make arrogant jokes in a self deprecating way all the time, but in reality all the things I'm saying about myself are true
