Find those kids that maybe a half a step slower than your typical 4 or 5 * but will flat out work. They work in the weight room and got started long before they got to Knoxville. We have to become a team that is well conditioned and not merely well fed. Our coaches will develop schemes that work with the speed we have but for Pete’s sake we have to be athletes that reflect heart and effort!

Sounds like an admission for bad recruiting from the new staff unable to get 5* platers. Talent wins.

You joined in 2012 and this is only your 15th post? Do they only allow internet access once per year in prison?

You don't have to have all 4* and 5* talent, but you do have to have speed. If you go back and look at the rise of the Oregon program, they did it by recruiting speed. They didn't have highly ranked classes at first, but they recruited athletes with speed. Speed is the great equalizer. If you have multiple guys that are a threat to score on any given play, then you have a chance. It also makes up for some errors on defense.

The new staffs week on the job? I’m highly surprised they haven’t signed 15 5 stars in that amount of time

I think we should only recruit players who are named, "Rudy," weigh 170 pounds or less, and have forty times slower than 4.9. Surefire recipe for multiple NCs.
