I agree the wave is the worst thing to happen to organized sports since....well its pretty much just the worst thing to happen to organized sports.

went to a game tonight and they did the same. I just shook my head and laughed. My wife looked over and said "Didn't you tell me not to do the wave when we have the ball?"

At what point in time and for what reason did the wave become uncool, unhip, uncoothe, what have you or a horrible act that is deteremental to its team , fans, universities, states, et involved...as you are suggesting it is?? just wondering ?

A group of guys who were trying to start one a section over from me got shut down by an older man who used a few choice words I can't repeat here. One of the best moments of my day.

I am anti wave and anti woooooo, but it seems it can't be stopped. I do wish the fans would learn when to wave an when not to. When UT is on offense you should be able to hear a pin drop from UT fans.

Wow. I would be embarrassed if I were you. Why the hell do you care what people think of you ? I bet your one of those guys that go to the game and just sit there and not root your team on because you dont want to be "embarressed." Do us all a favor and dont attend the game if you dont have fun there.

Go be a Bama fan.
