With Stephen Jackson back in the lineup, Golden State has now won 10 of their last 12 games. Go Warriors.

No, they won't. They'll be like all of Nellie's other teams in the Bay. Entertaining also rans.

I don't call teams that make the playoffs in the West also rans, not at all. I think it will come down to the Rockets or Warriors for the 8 spot.

Kobe Bryant can't make it out of the first round without Shaq.

Is "in the mix" referring to the Western Conference Playoff picture?

I'm saying I think they'll get in the playoffs, unless the Lakers get Kidd or Baron Davis get injured. For some reason I don't count the Clips out of the 8 spot either, depending on when Brand gets back. Its still kinda early.

Golden State will be in the playoffs again as long as they stay healthy.

Good to see the standards Fulmer is held to seep into all portions ofthis board. Making the playoffs in the NBA is a given for good organizations. Any team that considers simply making the postseason an accomplishment is the very definition of an also ran.

Golden State didn't just simply make the postseason last year, those "also rans" beat a very good Mavericks squad handily on their way to the biggest upset in NBA Playoffs history. Given their roster limitations, it was most certainly an accomplishment.

Warriors got crushed today, but they played their tails off the beat the Lakers the other night

Chris Paul and the Hornets opened up a can on the Warriors yesterday. CP3 with 24 and 13 and 5 steals. Tyson Chandler had a Dwight Howard like night with 22 and 22

The Warriors better make another move or they've got a good shot at being a lottery participant. Their defense is beneath atrocious right now. Home losses to Minnesota and Chicago don't indicate a positive trend.
