The actor certainly plays the part well. She seems downright evil minded lol.
The Carol Doctrine. If a potential liability / threat occurs you must eliminate it for the greater good.
I didn't disagree with Carols decision to kill those two individuals at the prison in order to control the spread of the virus either.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. She did the right thing, and I would have done the same. They were going to die anyway, she was trying to prevent it spreading, and what if they had turned and bit someone else. There was absolutely no plus to leaving them alive.
Well I was wrong about the baby and Glenn. This episode was far superior to the first (9th) episode. Glad Carol is back (really glad), Lizzie is carving bunnies and smothering babies (I love that crazy kid), poor Daryl stuck with that annoying chick. How Glenn is carried to the bus because he is so weak, can somehow run through 30 walkers is beyond stupid. I really hope he dies soon.
Why did these idiots not have a rendezvous point?
For the 1,000th time, most of this is based on what happened in the comics. This same thing happened in the comics. Now if you think it was stupid in comic too, then that's fine, but when you base a show on something incredibly popular, you tend not to stray too far from the source material.
Those sick people were quarantined, after that there is no point in prematurely killing them. We all saw the outcome of Carol's "killing for the greater good", it didn't work and the virus still spread.
Here's something that didn't bother me until I thought of it watching this episode. Why is there never any weather on any of the shows except for the one rain storm in season 1 where they were leaving ATL and had all the zombie guts on them? There literally is no rain, no snow, no hail, no thunderstorms. It's unrealistic especially in Georgia.
Re-watched last night's episode, "Inmates".
Scott Gimple, the show's main writer simply rocks. He has improved the show dramatically.
Look at the combination of the past two episodes:
* It was like a re-introduction. For the first time since the pilot episode every single character had a purpose and a point and we saw all named characters get development. If you're some who just started watching the series, you've got an introduction to every single character and where they are at now in the series. Nobody got "t-dogged" and just stood around doing nothing.
* Gimple was able to take 15 people in a two hour period and give each of them just enough time to get development. That is something the previous writers of the series had never been able to do on this scale..
* Gimple tied up the loose ends, answering most questions.
* They showed Judith alive (which also gave explanation for the blood in the carseat with tyreeses cut arm), not only had Carol come back, but to that specific group was genious. They also revealed who was planting the dead animals everywhere at the prison, and put her in the same group as Tyreese. That is a group of real psychos!!!
* I really enjoyed Glenn's segment. It gave closure to inside of the prison. He provided reasoning on why he was teaming up with Tara.
* The introduction of Abraham and his group and the 2nd reference to the group at Terminus, which is likely the cannibal group called the Hunters.
The show seems like it is just taking off.
