The Walking Dead

Why was the seat covered in blood?

I still think killing an infant on screen is too much for the perceived sensibilites of a TV audience. Plus Judith didn't make it out of the prison in the comics and they seem be trying to get that lined back up.

Additionally, it's hard to have babies on a TV show like this where only about a year and half has passed since the first episode. It's like Walt on Lost, the actors age faster than the story.
Kirkman left the Judith story open on TTD

My first reaction was that someone grabbed Judith. But then I recalled how Lori went out; without much of a trace.

Is there a trend starting with the Grimes family victims having ambiguous deaths??

Wasn't Lori's body eaten by that walker? Or did I misread that?

It was insinuated that she was eaten by a walker - but there was no visual proof of the event (other than a bloated walker and some blood).

The only confirmation we got was the other characters' acceptance of her being dead.

Anybody else think Tyreese will be who Carols meets up with in the fallout?

I actually hadn't thought of that but now that you mention it it seems fairly obvious. Aren't Lizzie and the other little girl that Carol was taking care of with Tyrese?

They ran off, I'm assuming he ran after them. And he doesn't know it was Carol that killed his chick, maybe they get a little friendly and then he finds out. Which makes him accept it easier.

The bloody seat could be explained a number of different ways. Besides, for a Walking Dead death there wasn't ENOUGH blood in that car seat.

Way too easy to use multiple actor babies/children.

Lol get mad damn it! :)

:) :)

It was insinuated that that's what happened. Lots of people in this thread including myself thought it was really stupid since the zombie conveniently ate all her hair and bones as well. Her skull too btw. :ermm:

It's extremely possibly since Tyrese never found out Carol did it. I'm guessing at this point it will remain secret to keep from him.

I said before in my last post I don't think the kids were running from Tyrese I think they were running back to get Judith before they left with Tyrese to wherever. Don't be crazy, a Carol and Tyrese romance isn't happening. :p

Maybe I'm crazy but I still don't think Carol killed those two people. I believe she was still covering for one of those two girls.

They did in the comics

Ok... Interesting conversation starter. Possible I suppose. Even if the older girl did it she didn't drag the bodies out the door by herself, she wouldn't have been strong enough. If the kid(s) did it why not tell Rick that? Why not say the kids did it and I covered for them? A kid is teachable so I don't think Rick would have thrown a kid out. Look at Carl, he cold blooded, killed a kid and everythings all good now.

I don't know, he threw Carol out because he thought she might be a threat to Carl or the baby (I seem to remember him giving a speech about that to someone but I forgot who). If he thought one of the kids might kill Judith or Carl I think he'd throw them out pretty quick.

I also hate to double post but when Daryl told Rick she wasn't like that, I think that could have been some intentional foreshadowing by the writers as well. Daryl would know her the best of the entire group.

Ummm call the comics crazy.

Well according to Rick, we can come back from the bad we done, and he still chucked Carol. He isn't exactly consistent in how he handles things. Though that little speech might help him accept Carol back.

Great episode. I found it hard to believe that the Governor's people carried out the attack after the conversation and execution that took place, but whatever.
